Oops!

Quote of the Day:

How vast those Orbs must be, and how inconsiderable this Earth, the Theatre upon which all our mighty Designs, all our Navigations, and all our Wars are transacted, is when compared to them. A very fit consideration, and matter of Reflection, for those Kings and Princes who sacrifice the Lives of so many People, only to flatter their Ambition in being Masters of some pitiful corner of this small Spot.

  1. News
Pyramids: Native Americans have been telling you this in stories for thousands of years! Why do so many still see it as myth?

Tattoos: She had a tramp stamp 😛

Magic(k): This article spent a lot of time talking about Trump so now I’m going to. His medical form sounds like it was written by the same doctors used by Kim Jong Un. Everything is perfect and he is the ideal sun god. Use your magic to curse him for Pete’s sake! Oh and if you are going to throw Crowley in there for spice, don’t do it at the end of the article and in only one sentence.

    360° Nooscope…that is all.

  2. Why Scientists are Failing
First they tell you things like Coconut Oil is bad for you. Then the next thing you hear is that it’s actually good for you. People with common sense always knew that it’s good for you!

People like deGrasse Tyson want to put themselves forward as our “personal ass-tro-physicist”. No thanks! I almost don’t want to watch science documentaries any more. A lot of what is stated as fact in documentaries will be proven wrong. Just look at any documentary produced ten years ago. It’s laughable.

I’m a professional engineer and technologist. I love this stuff. But, what passes for science is currently a joke. A hundred years from now we will all be looked upon as idiots. That is, if we’re still around.

  3. Castaways
In their article they say that rowing back along the northwest of Africa towards Gibraltar is “tiring”.

It is worse than that. When you row galleys, you need a lot of rowers. These rowers have to eat.

The rowing distance is limited by the amount of food the galley can carry, making these kinds of ships short range. That is why they didn’t compete with slower pure sailing ships, and why in a galley you can’t go anywhere long distance on purpose.

Personally I believe that long distance travel on boats in the ancient world was much more prevalent than most historians believe. If is a better explanation of the spread of humanity over the planet than the concept of walking everywhere.
