‘In unseen worlds, science invariably crosses paths with fantasy.’

Quote of the Day:

Long live transfinite mountains, the hollow earth, time machines, fractal writing, aliens, dada, telepathy, flying saucers, warped space, teleportation, artificial reality, robots, pod people, hylozoism, endless shrinking, intelligent goo, antigravity, surrealism, software highs, two-dimensional time, gnarly computation, the art of photo composition, pleasure zappers, nanomachines, mind viruses, hyperspace, monsters from the deep and, of course, always and forever, the attack of the giant ants!

  1. fake and fairies
Norwegians in general cannot be trusted, never ever trust a Norwegian (they know that fact well and therefore do not trust each other), so I expect this meteor video to be fake (or some dumb artifact). Also, it is the Norwegian state channel promoting it, likely pure pro-Norway propaganda, attracting tourists, whatever.

Not sure concerning the intention with the fairy images. Good with some magic, but in the swarm-image, most are inside focal plane, which would indicate fakery.

    1. I believe some sort of fairy
I believe some sort of fairy folk may very well exist – perhaps pint sized ET’s or other transdimensionals, but for the photos cited I think those could very well be some sort of hatching fly.

  2. *sigh*
    humans are semi-gullible…

Faires: Insects, of some kind possibly may flies. They are moving, and as a result the camera cannot calculate this movement with the shutter speed and causes the bodies to be elongated making it look like a little person. This all being said, I do believe in fairies.

Deer: Another camera trick, explained in the comments below. The deer it actually looking into the camera and its reflective eyes, because it is so close are causing a reflection that reads like a UFO. Look really close at the floating lights and you start to see features of the deer’s face.

On a similar topic, I live in the middle of a forest and see many deer and many hunters and trail cams. I was watching the deer Thursday night, they usually show up around 1AM to eat my neighbor’s lawn, and saw them suddenly take off. Something spooked them, which isn’t surprising since we have coyotes, raccoons, and feral cats around. Thought nothing of it and went to bed. Saturday night I was closing the blinds to my room and saw something staring back up at me, glowing yellow eyes, from outside the window. As soon as it saw me it took off. It was too small to be a deer or coyote, too big to be a cat or raccoon, and there was no lights on to make its eyes shine like that. Whatever it was made a beeline for the forest. It was way fast. And I don’t know what I saw.

Skydiver: Well, now he’s worth several thousand dollars.

    1. glowing yellow eyes
Not all cats are housecats. I don’t know where you live, but, a lynx (bobcat), maybe?

Look around the area where you saw the eyes, and try to spot a nebulous, six-inch wide, 18-or-so-inch high trail. On the ground, it probably won’t have obvious footprints in it – you’ll just see leaves and twigs kind of brushed to each side. As to the height, it will pass under bushes or brush that are about 18 inches from the ground, as it keeps to cover. If there’s tallish grass (8 to 10 inches high) in places, the tops of the grass may be brushed along in the same direction, as they’re creatures of habit, and will repeatedly use a successful hunting circuit. Of course, now that it’s seen you, it may modify the part of its circuit that runs past your house.

      1. bobcat
Actually, we found out it may have been the bobcat hybrid someone in town keeps as a pet. He apparently keeps getting out. Why someone has a bobcat as a pet though is beyond me and even though it’s a hybrid I think it’s technically illegal. Not sure if they found it yet but yeah that could be it.

i just like a good story is all 😉

  3. The Magical British Isles
The Tempest is an allegory of the Tudor Dynasty and the magical spells they (and especially Queen Elizabeth) employed to ward off the “evil spirits” of the Pope and Holy Roman Empire. The Tudor Dynasty (like Prospero of the play) was a displaced collateral line of royalty and clinging for dear life in England. This attempted to reconcile with the one that overthrew it (symbolized by marriage of Prospero’s daughter Miranda), but the deceitful overlords were themselves displaced from power and ended up on the same island refuge! A reconciliation still occurred, and with the resignation that this was simply the nature of royal succession.

Luckily for them, England was renowned for its restorative powers to fallen kingly lines. This tradition was undoubtedly linked to Britain’s role in the recovery after the Atlantean debacle. Many aspiring princes also sought kingship in Britain for this very same reason. In the Roman Period, Julius Caesar, Claudius and Vespatian all made token claims to kingship in Britain to bolster their right to greater kingship. Later, others would follow, such as Constantine the Great and even William the Conqueror. Did you know that William became a Byzantine Emperor at the end of his life under the name of Botaneiates, and after prevailing over a rival named “Lord Byron” (Byrennius)?

Judging from the British Empire’s rise from virtually nothing, Shakespearean magic must have been powerful indeed!
