Here’s the lineup and order of the presentations for Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd:
As you can see, the list is a good mix of ‘heavy hitters’ and folks who might be relatively unknown but nonetheless have many interesting things to share with the audience. I also like the fact that Anomacon will feature speakers from outside the United States, and also that the male/female ratio is well balanced.
As for my little presentation —well, actually it’s not that little— I prepared a video explaining the genesis of the UFOlogy Tarot project, along with some ‘behind the scenes’ stuff that hopefully will give the audience a better handle of how the cards came to be (think of it as a sort of “director’s commentary” like the ones they used to include in DVDs).
Like I already said, the video is a bit long, but I tried to compensate it by sprinkling it with A LOT of images; not just enlarged details of the cards that you wouldn’t be able to detect unless you purchased a large 11×17″ print or the coffee table book we printed, but also quick doodles I felt compelled to create to illustrate some of the ideas I talk about in my presentation. Like this one for example:
