Maybe Earth is nothing but an interdimensional immigration center.

Quote of the Day:

“The concept of a supermind running the universe objectively, without compassion, is not new. Several religions are built around it. Thinking of God in these terms is not heresy but is advanced theology. The old-time God—the big bearded man sitting on a throne in the sky—is dead.”

John A. Keel.

  1. “The concept of a supermind running the universe objectively, without compassion, is not new. Several religions are built around it. Thinking of God in these terms is not heresy but is advanced theology. The old-time God—the big bearded man sitting on a throne in the sky—is dead.”

    John A. Keel

I have a good friend that has been asking me for over thirty years if I “believe in God” and I’ve tried to explain to him what Keel basically said above and he always says, “You didn’t answer my question,” because he wants me to give the standard atheist response of, “there is no God.”

I say clearly that I don’t “believe” in God, I “know” that he exists. “He lives on a mountain top, in the middle of a desert with his wife and three sons. I don’t remember the names of the three sons; I need to look them up in Wikipedia.”

That always flummoxes him, thus his whine, “You didn’t answer my question.”

He cannot understand the concept that in the far future God will come into existence, come from us, and like any Omega Point/God, will reach back in Time to optimize its starting conditions.

So atheists are right, there is no, “big bearded man sitting on a throne in the sky”, reality is far more interesting than that. All of their objections to God are resolved:

    – God knows everything, is everywhere, because he remembers everything.

    – Freewill is built into reality, God is only going to do minor tweaking to avoid messing up his own timeline.(See any Doctor Who episode. HA!)

When they object to God “creating the universe” by asking where did he come from when the universe did not exist, they can’t see the story from his viewpoint of Time. Cause and Effect are not violated. The Cause is in the far future, and the Effect is in the past. Physics has no problem with that, neither does the good Doctor.

Any problem people have with this is because our language does not handle wibbily wobbly timey wimey stuff very well.

BTW, Religions were created by old men to control young men, and have nothing to do with God. Heaven and Hell are simply modern manmade concepts to provide “the carrot and the stick” for those religions to impose their rule, and scare the bejesus out of people.
