Writer and producer John Higgs sends info about an upcoming book he is currently completing, on the life of Timothy Leary:
I thought you might be interested to hear about a biography of Timothy Leary which I have written, and which will be published next May on the 10th anniversary of Leary’s death. It’s called “I Have America Surrounded: The Life of Timothy Leary”, and it’s been written with access to all Leary’s papers and letters and the full co-operation of his estate and archivist. It’s a mix of both the adventure of his life and the ideas that drove him on, and I think the first book to get some perspective on his life and his influence. There is also a strong focus on his fugitive life after his prison break and his collaboration with the FBI, stories that have never really been told properly before.
