For those lucky enough to have access to the excellent PBS series NOVA, you might enjoy an upcoming show on Isaac Newton (scheduled for Nov. 15) titled “Newton’s Dark Secrets”. For those of us who don’t get to see the series though, there is still plenty of information online to check out. On site you’ll find:
- An in-depth interview on Newton’s fascination with the Bible and alchemy.
- His legacy: gravity, laws of motion, reflecting telescope, calculus.
- How his masterpiece, “The Principia”, came to be.
- All about Einstein’s glowing appreciation of Newton.
