The folks over at the Biblical Archaeology Society have been busy over the Easter period (there’s a joke there somewhere), with the release of not one, but two of their periodicals. Archaeology Odyssey has hit news-stands with two feature stories on Catalhoyuk, a look at modern art based on Homer’s Odyssey, and a nice piece on the Terracotta army of China. Meanwhile, the latest Bible Review is also out, with features on the first female apostle, Rembrandt’s New Testament portraits, and a rebuttal to the idea that Jesus was married. Full details of the contents of each magazine, as well as the usual graphic teasers, are available at the respective websites.
