The website of ‘maverick’ biologist Rupert Sheldrake has been updated with the addition of a recent paper, presented last month at the Parapsychology Association Annual Convention in Vienna, which supports his own positive results in ‘telephone telepathy’ experiments. Titled “Who’s Calling at this Hour? Local Sidereal Time and Telephone Telepathy” (PDF file), the experiment not only looked for evidence of telephone telepathy, but also studied the possibility that success rates vary depending on the sidereal time.
While acknowledging the small sample size, the positive results they encountered led the researchers to conclude that “in light of the generally unsuccessful replications of psi research at the University of Amsterdam the current results should be considered as a recommendation for further exploration of the telephone telepathy.”
