A dream I had last night. A woman was handing out numbers, for what reason I don't know. I had a pessimistic feeling, that I would be last or my number would be so high I'd be waiting forever. To my surprise, she looked at me first and said, "You're 2!" She hadn't allocated number 1, so I assumed she was 1 and I was chosen to be second. Second for what, I can't remember.
Why was I chosen to be number 2, and what does it mean? Dualism? Yin & Yang? In Kabbalah, the second sphere of the Tree is Wisdom: intuition, synchronicity, life beyond space/time. Two sides to a coin? Am I missing a third force?

I had another musical synchronicity yesterday. I had a Tori Amos song stuck in my head all day. I haven't listened to Tori's music for a long time, and I haven't heard her music played anywhere else recently. I don't know why this one suddenly popped into my head to haunt me. It really came out of the blue.
Later in the day after work, I walked into a store looking for a new shirt, and the exact same song was playing on the stereo. The song is Angels, and it's on her Best Of cd Tales of a Librarian (Amazon US or UK). Ok, it's a popular cd by a popular artist -- but to hear the same song that had been stuck in my head all day, a song I haven't listened to in at least a year... that's more than a coincidence when you consider my Indiana Jones jolt last week.

In another part of the dream, unrelated to the number two, I was a cat. Someone was holding me and cuddling me, but I didn't like it and kept biting them so they would let me go. I can remember literally biting them -- lucky I don't have a girlfriend or I would have been sleep-biting!
My housemate's cat tends to bite you if you pick her up when she doesn't want to be held, so my dream could have been a subconscious memory -- unless I was astral traveling and experiencing my cat's subconscious? Or the cat was projecting her thoughts into my dreams and saying, "Hey, this is what it feels like!" I often wake up to find the cat sitting next to my head, just staring and purring at me. How long she had been sitting there watching me sleep, I have no idea.

And about the #2 dream, I dunno... was the woman good-looking? ;-)

When I was very small (5 or 6), a regular thing would happen when I awoke from a nightmare. I would drift off again, and be sat in a wooden chair in the dark, having my hair washed by an ancient green skinned woman, who seemed linked to Medusa (though I just though of her as 'Hairwasher'). Now it would be kind to describe her as 'homely', but I loved her because she always washed my fear away!

At last I see a way to actively use this group. I have assumed before now that you’re all like me, so freakin’ synchronized every day that it’s kind of redundant to discuss them.
But this China earthquake gives me an idea.
Did anyone see any hint of this in their synchronicities recently? Any synchros associated with it?
A minor one for me, last week I listened to Tori Amos’s "Little Earthquakes" for the first time in a couple of years. I even specifically made myself listen to the entire song "China", which I used to skip.

Tori believes in faeries and spiritual beings, and she's taken ayahuasca in the Amazon. I'm on the right path perhaps. Or I need to dye my hair red and sing about catholic angst.

These are various aspects of the person you are and the one you wish to be. Priorities. Commitments. Dreams (of the waking achievable sort).
