It's official. Guillermo Del Toro will adapt JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit to the big screen, with Peter Jackson Executive Producer. And it'll be TWO MOVIES!
If only we could see the grin on Red Pill Junkie's face. ;-)

One Mexican To Rule Them All
Some say Ian Holm is too old to play Bilbo, but remember in the first LOTR film, Gandalf says to him, "You haven't aged a day." So Bilbo circa The Hobbit isn't much younger looking than Bilbo of the LOTR film. Bah, this is what CGI is for anyways! Although in the first LOTR film, they used old-fashioned tape to stretch Ian Holms's face back to make him look younger. Dunno if he'd want to endure that 16 hours a day for 3 months though!
