Occasionally, people update their original blog posts. This is very nice they correct small mistakes, update links, and otherwise imprive the information they give.
I think it would be nice if they also told us what they updated, just as a courtesy, especially on really long blog items.

Normally I tend to improve my grammar and correct typos (webster.com is a life-saver!).Other times I find something that I believe to be relevant, so I add it as an afterthought.
I'll keep it in mind when I have to correct a phrase of statement if I later find it to be false or erroneous.
