This information comes from an old friend who was a consultant with me back when I worked. I am retired now but have lunch with a lot of old politicos and media types. They all say that Ron Paul is being used by the Left to dilute the message of the Conservatives. He has no chance in winning anything according to them. They just say he is being used by the sly Liberals who think they can pull the wool over the eyes of the electorate. I just might agree since I have also known Paul for about 20 years and he delivered my cousin's daughter. As a Doctor he was great. Here is what they said to me:
"Who in the Hell do they think they are — little Liberal CIA agents???? Ron Paul is no more a Republican than I am a retired turk of high industry. He is an emplacement of the left and they just love having him squeal and muse to the high heavens and then have his little vocal unit/s scream like girls in the background. I know these guys so darn well it almost makes me sick. They think they can dilute this election somehow with him in the mix and for some it works. Then when it is over they get out their little phones and text message how great he was for the pollsters. It is all carbon copy Liberal Informal Fallacy and utilization of non-sequiturs to attempt to dissolve any understanding so they can keep everyone back on their heels. I am so darn sick of the messes they think they can create with their heavy investment in Gay-like Communications. I call it gay because my former university students always said something that was bad or off color was gay. I really don’t mean the other thingy. I’m nice but getting very tired of the in-your-face stuff by the Left.
When will America wake up to the silly subtle little tricks they use to “flip” our nation’s mindset out of being responsible voters. I don’t know but the national writers strike is an example of how deep they must dig to pull up writers for these FLIPPANT ugly shows that are designed to preoccupy the female mindset into the world of CUTE! I have never in my life seen a more blatant attempt to co-opt womanhood’s mind than the junk on the networks. Disney and ABC-like networks are working overtime to create alternative families and be as nasty as they can to destroy permanently the little remaining morality of this nation. And, they are doing it with cute little cartoons. America, Yep you had best wake up to how you are being propagandized by the leveraging of psychological methods to destroy your life for their own political benefits. It is all a silly shell game liberals are playing with folks on the internet trying to put down everything that is not in their political benefit range. You know who they are here...key word cute little remarks. Wake up America, our nation is being hyped royally by savvy hucksters who think they can make you vote for a democrat this time around. If it happens, we will not see the light of day again."
These old guys are political persons who once were employed by Democrat and Republican candidates as consultants and writers. They know the inside and I once knew the same. It sure seems to be getting nasty and I am glad I am no longer working in this field.

There is a lot of truth in what you say. Unfortunately, the electorate prefers to nap. The politically-illiterate in America do not want their gravy train interrupted. Those that are GOP-minded just want to have what they see as "their" chance to grab the brass ring and build their own castle. The donkey-brained want "their" chance also, but want to make possible further social-engineering at the same time. Both major parties are responsible for the current state of the US.
Unlimited text messaging, daily updates on Britney's condition, and the phone number to vote on American Idol are their primary concerns in life. And many of these people vote!
Those in the shadows of power don't want to toss the dice.

You have it worked out. America is no longer the nation to follow for there are no good examples left except my silly generation. My father's generation, once called the greatest generation is about to go — they were such fine people but we, their children did not live the moral existence they did. I hate what we have become, but I am almost gone also. My children are trying to bring back what they know they have lost but they number in the few. I wish we had stood for something, but the best we could put forth was Bill Clinton. Our best was the worst in history. He is a carbon copy of my generation and his wife will most likely lead us into oblivion.
I will not go there...I will fight for my father's character and his generation as long as I can type a word.
Remember before September
Remember before September 11th Tom Cruise was always in the news. Him and his Nicole. Now it is Britney, Paris, or Lindsay. Doping the masses is what I call it. When I ride the subway, bus, or streetcar, all I see are Ipods, homeless people agressively begging for spare change, and teenagers trash talking. We have come to the point where we must admit that we have no culture. I believe Canada prides itself on the fact that it has multiculturalism to mask the fact that we actually have no culture at all. I am not slamming immigration, I think immigrants offer so much to a country, but I don't like seeing this anti culture being promoted in the media, movies, and in TV. Does an NFL jersy represent American culture, or a CFL jersy do the same in Canada. One of the few good things about this American election year is people are talking about politics, not about Britney, or Paris, or Lindsay. We are actually discusing social and foreign policies. We should be talking about such issues and getting involved. What type of society are we creating any how. Here in Toronto, real estate prices are through the roof, rent is unbelievable, yet Canada's population level is still around 30 million. If you saw the real esate prices out there, you would think Canada had a population of 500 million but we don't. I don't know what earthlings opinion on this issue in BC. Maybe he would share it, I am not sure. What I feel about the baby boom generation, I don't think Ron, or EF, would agree. I don't want to offend you Ron, just express my point of view. I feel the babyboom generation is the most greediest, selfish generation that has ever lived in the history of humanity. They monopolize the money, the land, and the resources and they treat the next generation like it is the enemy. If you care about the direction of the US and you are a US citizen, then get involved. Meet that politician running in your riding. Last year, I was sitting on the couch when I had a feeling I should shovel some snow. So I got up, stepped outside, and shoveled some snow, even putting down salt to prevent anyone from slipping. Moments later, I was back on the couch. That instant, I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door. Some person running for election, an NDP canadate, said, "Sir, I hope I can count on your suppport for this election." This possible politician never asked what issues are important to me, nor did they care. Yes, I regretted showeling the front of the house. I would loved to seen this person slip down the steps on their butt. It would have done them an ounce of good. Maybe everything is predecided and unchangable, but you can give it a fighting chance. What about a free universal healthcare system. See Michael Moore's Sicko, which showed the UK healthcare system, the EU's, and Canada's system itself. Why can't the US have a similiar system. Don't discus the healthcare system, pick the one you want, and legislate it into being. There is so much to discus. It might be even feel usless to try.

Slipping away from what I thought I came in on...
Long ago, I had hope for being here in Time/Space. I watched the universe from an old black & White movie theater in Ballinger, Texas at the ripe old age of 3 or 4. Who knows what dreams we had then. I just do not see life anymore...it has slipped away on wings of stupidity.
