Something Wicked...

...this way comes! The proofs for Darklore arrived today, and they look just great - here's an image of the hardcover version to feast your eyes on. And inside, here's the beautiful spread for Michael Grosso's essay on death-bed visions, "The Beatific Vision". Should be available to buy very soon - of course I'll let you know when. The paperback will be $US13.95 or £8.99 - good value I think for 18 essays (304 pages) from some of the best in the business. For the collectors out there, the hardcover print run is limited to just 66 - yes, two digits, 66. Price for this collector's edition will be $US39.95 or £19.99 - now there's an investment for the future. Exciting times...

Are we gonna have to STROKE the book's spine to prevent it from jumping out on us? ;-)

A limited print run of 666 copies (or 616) would have been much more cool, Greg. ;-)

The design looks great, it really suits the hardcover. Now if only I can pay off my credit card before copies run out...

I would wager a small amount of money (say US$0.50, getting smaller every day) that the 66 copies have already sold out, to the publishers and/or authors. Maybe their moms too, at the reduced prices.

Nope, I only know of 3 that are spoken for. And I may do an auction of the proof copy I have - which is the absolute #1 ever of Darklore. I wouldn't mind holding on to it for sentimental reasons, but then I'd like to pay the bills too...

Definitely be ready when they go on sale though, because I don't think they'll last long.

Kind regards,
Greg

All right Greg, I owe you $0.50 next time we meet :)
I'm good for it, don't worry.

I'm not too sure whether we'll even sell 666 copies of the paperback, so that wouldn't exactly be a limited print run! I hope we do much better though - the content is first class, the contributors are some of my favourites, and the royalties go back to those researchers/writers to help them out. What's not to like!

Kind regards,
Greg
