The latest video posted here on TDG is an absolute must-watch for those who have been following the UFO ‘Drones’ fiasco over the last few months. It’s a ‘music video’ for the track “Strange Craft”, by DRONE, but it’s instructive on many counts. Most importantly, for those who have said the ‘Drones’ couldn’t be CG creations, it shows just how easily things like this can now be created – not just as 2D images, but as life-like 3D constructions. The video, created by Kris Avery (aka ‘Saladfingers’), who works for a UK 3D imaging company, is mind-blowingly good (and the music’s pretty damn fine too).
The video clip uses both the drone images, as well as the so-called CARET blueprint documents, and manipulates them brilliantly – moving from 2D to 3D seamlessly (so much so, I’m going to have to reluctantly put Kris Avery on the list of suspects for the original drone images…). Not to mention, it integrates sampled audio of Linda Moulton Howe and alleged witnesses describing the craft. I could talk about it for a while longer, but it’s just a whole lot better if you simply watch the clip. You can download a high-res version as well. Stunning work. (h/t Forgetomori)
Update: The creator of the video, Kris Avery, has been kind enough to post a comment here on TDG about the video (and – quite legitimately – takes issue with my backhanded compliment about him being at the top of the candidates to be the original hoaxer).
