David Gilmour - Comfortably Numb

Description:

David Gilmour during a solo tour, doing "Comfortably Numb" with Robert Wyatt singing the verse. Perhaps the two best guitar solos of all time, in the one song?

Man, I want this to be the last thing I hear when I am leaving this dimension for good... (and many listenings more in the meantime) Thanks, Greg!

David Gilmour is good but what about Spaceship super star????

Lord,
Bless this site and all who reside in it. (laughing)And please forgive them for forgeting about Prims' Spaceship Super Star Keep up the good work, Greg!

Greg - I don't know where else to request this ...

Hi Greg,

Sorry but I couldn't find the page where we can suggest URL's for inclusion on TDG. For the past two Sundays the BBC has been running a documentary called "the Trap". Last night was 2 of 3. I hope that it is sold around the world because it has important things to say (not least - to my mind - in showing up the simplistic, mechanistic, "selfish gene" model of humans proposed by the detestable Dawkins and others).

Here is a lengthy video clip that you might like to link:

Regards,

Dave.

Layla ?

I still think that Eric Clapton's "Layla" has a most interesting contrast between the major movements in one single song.
