Along with Creationism and Evolution there's a third theory that some believe is the answer to our origins -- Intervention.
Lloyd Pye ,Everything You Know is Wrong: Human Origins, (Amazon US and UK) has updated his website. Lloyd Pye has joined the hunt for (aka Bigfoot, Abominable Snowman, Yeti and others). There's a 5-minute video where LP expresses his opinions on the limitations of orthodox research. We found the section titled Intervention to be an informative and entertaining slide-show. There are links to the latest on the Starchild as well.
What other theory could explain the cheetah?
Bill

Hello
I read your post with interest as I had just been recently asking about some feelings about creationism and evolution. I had heard of intervention, I relate that to ETs and the sorts. I went to the site, but was unable to receive the download as I think I have pop up blockers and different things. SO, I missed out on it. If any one is able to download and watch it and then write a little blurb on it, I would really appreciate it and I think maybe a few others would as well. I thank you for posting this. It is interesting.

intervention?
Hey, have you by any chance read any Sitchin. A lot of Pye's work is closly related to Sitchin and the intervention of the Anunaki.
There seems to be a lot of logic behind the thought of genetic monipulation that would explain many things.
i.e. why is there no skeletal evidence linking a lot of the domestic animals to their surpposible ancestors. It would seem THE MISSING LINK is more of a missing time zone.
We can trace human to a point and also many animals...then suddenly there is this great advancement that has no real explaination.
It's like you watch your new house being built every day....you can see each step...then suddenly it's complete. But you feel you missed something along the way.
What I need is a time machine.....
flopps luvs all.....
Intervention
Hi Floppy2,
I once mentioned Z. Sitchin to LP, and Lloyd told me that he only walked in the shadow of that great man.
Bill
great man!
Lloyd is way too modest. He can hold his own very well.
I like the idea of interventionism
Hi Bill,
I agree with Pye that there could well have been intervention with the DNA of the human species and the world we live in.
But I don't agree with some of his theories on how he arrives at such.
For instance he goes into great detail in his book about the genetic modification of grains by aliens in a short time.
Yet,is he aware that in Iraq the grain had been modified by farmers for thousands of years to grow in dry areas.
The grain in Iraq was so special and so beautifully modified to do well in that particular place that it is doubtful that science could repeat it.
We all know the conclusion to this little story of course;Iraqis are now forbidden to use their own grain and must buy from Monsanto every year.
And as much of their own grain as possible has been destroyed except for that collected and hidden many years ago in readiness for just such an occasion as this.
Getting back to Pye.
I don't much like the way he works.
He is the only person I am aware of in the alternative field who constantly whines for money.
He would be an academic if he could be, but he ain't.
And his writing is not so spectacular that I feel the need to spend money to buy it.
I am pleased that he is exploring the idea of Bigfoot though, as I think there could well be something interesting there.

I am still interested in interventionism but I would like to see a more academic approach to it than Pye's.
pye
shadows. give him a break....he is constantly teatering on the verge of being laughed into nonexistance.
At least he chalanges mainstream with alot of convincing arguments.
He would go further but then he would fall off the edge of being believed. There is a lot of fact surrounding LP's theories and the only reason he may seem to whine for economic surport is because mainstream won't touch him in fear of him being proven correct.
He is a very honest sincere man trying to put forth arguments that go against everything we have been taught.
I applaud him!
luv ya...flopps..
well,I can see the Flopster's back...
...attacking me already.
I can see that he challenges mainstream and I like that but I don't like the whinge for money. The only one allowed to whinge for money on this site is me.I started it.
OK I'll cut him some slack, just for you.
I would love to see his Starchild skull turn out to be an alien!
Wouldn't you?
love shadows
attacking you! who me
hey shadows....you may have commented on this befor you read my post to you in another area.
You know I would never attack you..................true.
If our logie award winning Za........whats his name Hor..arse....sorry my spelling lacks sometimes....can get all the help he needs for cat scans and what ever for old...MY SKULL IS ELONGATED TUT!...then why has LP had so many drama's for years to get any kind of professional help with his odd skull.
It all reeks of conspirity......
luvs ya's...flopps who wishes he could spell......
Lloyd Pye
Hi Shadow,
I don't think LP would agree that it was the farmers who modified the grain. Did you see the slide-show?
I didn't see much money-whining on his website. The fund-raising was for the Starchild. He was asked to raise money for that effort by the owners of the skull.
Bill
Pye again
Hi Bill,
Yes I know that Pye would not agree with me that the farmers modified the grain and he would be wrong.
There is scientific evidence that it passed through many different stages before it became what it is today.
Evidence like old grain found in archeological digs etc.throughout the centuries.
Remember that Baghdad was the cradle of civilization.
Just because someone writes something does not make it right.
No I didn't see the slide show, it wouldn't work.
There is a box on the site for contributions, presumably for the skull.
Bill you used to be so nice before they got to you with those black ops.I warned you against them but would you listen?
NO!
Now look what has happened to you!
But I still love you,

Interventions
Shadows -
Just left-click on the box titled "intervention". That should lead you to fifteen slide-shows each having about ten slides. If that doesn't work then right-click it.
Have you broken-in those new eyes yet? I don't see a box for contributions. Are you sure you're at http://www.lloydpye.com/?
I linked the website because I thought you might enjoy it. I thought that was nice. What's your nice threshold?
Bill
Thanks Bill...
...for pushing me to check out the slide show.It is terrific.
Even me old darlin' sat and looked at it for about 2 hours with me clicking for him and he said he would be interested in following it up.
With his scientific background that is high praise.
This of course was in his book which I read on the net.I liked the book and I like his hypotheses but sometimes, like with the grain, I am yet to be convinced.
I duly apologise to Mr Pye for accusing him of whingeing and applaud the level of scholarship necessary to produce this theory.
His site is terrific.
