    Amazon.co.uk says the HD and PB are out of stock, which is strange (appropriately). I clicked the link as soon as the news was posted too! Are Amazon presenting the correct information? Thanks for the great books.

      Yeah, that seems to happen a bit with Amazon UK – same thing with DL3. I think it comes from them sourcing it externally for the first round of orders, then they stock additional copies at their warehouse after that point. They should be able to ship fairly quickly after an order in any case, the stock is available to them.

    I’ve had a good chance to nose through the pre-print version and it is another winner (although I would say that) – thanks to Greg for sorting this out. The table of contents is now up on the Open Library.

    On the question of Amazon.co.uk – I have noticed that new books tend to trickle in, I assume it is an automated process as described by Greg. If people put in their orders it should speed up their stocking of the book in their warehouse and experience suggests that the books turn up more quickly than they suggest in such circumstances.

      Anyway I hope you enjoy DL4 and recommend everyone (no matter what you think, of course) post their reviews on Amazon as it helps give people decide if it is worth their while picking it up.

        Another stellar edition of Darklore, I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did (still am). I didn’t think the cover art could top DL3 either, very nice work (the cover art is always the most important part!). Great to see Robert Bauval publishing something less than 500 words too. 😉

          I do have some blurred photographs that might prove it and an odd piece of glass I found in my garden today which, I fear, might not be enough to convince anyone, including me.

          Of course, it could just be me being ham-fisted and clumsy (although now I think about it the spam filter kicked in throwing me off my stride) – who can really Know?
