Campaign for Philosophical freedom
Posted by wonka at 21:58, 08 Feb 2006Dunno if this website has ever been reported on TDG in the past, but CFPF is dedicated to revealing the deceit and absurdity of religion.
It also features superb evidence and discussion for survivalism.
It's run by Michael Roll, who is almost evangelistic in his efforts to bring this evidence to the masses. He's appeared on quite a few radio shows around the world.

I really have trouble believing that someone appears physically in a laboratory after they died.
And if this is supposed to have happened in 1924 I have even more trouble believing.
It does not mean I don't believe in life after death.
It just means that I don't believe someone appeared bodily.

I well understand that. Any sane person should be sceptical until they've personally experienced it. I too am sceptical. Last year I attended a physical seance, in which dead people purportedly materialised. It was a fantastic experience, but I still have major doubts about what happened, principally because the room was pitch black, and I didn't SEE it with my own eyes.
I don't like to use the word 'believe'. That's for religionists. I only deal with evidence or proof. When I see sufficient evidence or proof, then I accept what happened was genuine.
Saying I believe or disbelieve something suggests that I will accept a proposition based on blind faith.
All I can say is that better people than me HAVE personally experienced such phenomena. These people are not your typical village idiots, nor are they prone to gullibility. They are respected scientists, and are just as discerning as me and you.
So.... there must be something in it? Like I say, don't dismiss it, but don't accept it until you have experienced it.
