Secret of the Universe Unlocked

Astrophysicist Bernard Haisch along with physicists James Deardorff, Bruce Maccabee and Harold Puthoff make their case in the JBIS article: "Inflation-Theory Implications for Extraterrestrial Visitation".

"What we have done is somewhat of a breakthrough," Haisch told SPACE.com. "We have pulled together various recent discoveries and theoretical issues that collectively point to the strong probability that we should be in the midst of one or more huge extraterrestrial civilizations," he said.

Now, would be a good time to check what the ancient gnostics had to say on these matters, truly amazing stuff, a warning; essential!

1. Given that I'm not sure that the ETH (extraterrestrial hypothesis) is the best explanation for most UFO phenomena, I'm not sure how to greet this news with regards to the frequency of, or understanding of, UFO events.

2. I can't quite reconcile the rather aethereal notions of the Gnostics regarding their Archons with actual alien astronauts. Seems like this requires about as much finagling as trying to get the underworld god on Pacal's tomb into a pilot in his spaceship (when in fact what the drawing shows, when understood in context, is him descending into the mouth of the underworld), but maybe that's just me and my usual allergy to Von Danikenism.

When we observe ants or other low-level species from afar, do they have the ability to conceive of such observation?

An advanced life form would be more than capable of avoiding detection unless it desired to do so. Our understanding of the simple physical world is so wanting (even with the lastest 'theory' of Superstring or M-space available).

And who says the evidence isn't piling up before our very eyes? Who was it said that they didn't let the facts get in the way of a good story?
