Not discounting the theory, mind you. Certainly, there are connections here somewhere to be found. Human sexuality is a notoriously difficult subject to link to other phenomena, owing to the fact that we are all, so far, human and share the same condition.
Is someone with a sexually-charged abductee experience to relate merely using the "UFO" as a vehicle to convey his or her own desires, sexual or otherwise, while trying to elude societal judgement?
Do aliens really need to cross thousands of light years of space to find another species to get some action?
Do we see what we wish to see, or what is actually there?
If I see a UFO, black out, and recall being on board a fabulous spacecraft crewed by hot blondes with no inhibitions, did any of it really happen? Did I just supply all of the sexual imagery after bumping my head (make that skull)?

I don't think anybody could answer those questions with any certainty. I'm definitely not trying to. My intention was merely to
a)Show some of the seeming links between the UFO phenomenon and the human libido; and
b)Show the odd parallels between our society's refusal to accept the UFO reality, and the way we repress sexuality in the Western world.
If you think about it, the more a society ignores the Paranormal, the more sexual repression you're likely to find as well.
And believe me, I only scratched the surface in the topic, because there's lot and lot of other stuff you'll find if you dig deep enough.
For instance, I wanted to mention how the abduction phenomenon looks less like a 'scientific' medical examination, and more like a type of ritualized sexual abuse, not unlike the entry ceremonies you encounter in certain secret societies.
I agree with people like Kevin Randle when he ponders just how stupid these supposedly advanced aliens have to be, when they have to keep repeating the same hybridization experiments over and over again. Where I don't agree with is in his simplistic dismissal of the phenomenon as purely psychological in nature. I think there's something to it; I think some sort of exchange and communication takes place, but a communication that has nothing to do with our 'logical' left hemisphere —hence, much of it is colored by our cultural background, and maybe even possibly our unconscious desires.
Also, people like Jacques Vallee speculate that witnesses to a UFO encounter come in contact with a very powerful energy field; and this energy field might not only affect your perceptions of the whole event, but it might also affect the witness at a biological level —hence the increase in sexual appetite that people who completed the UFO poll in Panama reported.

You have all of the sexual imagery that you need! Jane Fonda is sex personified! I wish that I could fantasize about Jane Fonda wearing a very short mini skirt and a very small halted top!
What do you think?

Man, I remember the 1st time I saw that movie, with the opening scene... it was simply electrifying —which, if you read my essay, might be the binding connection with the UFO.
