Paradigm Synchronicity

I'm back from Paradigm symposium, although that's a bit of a lie: Part of me stayed in Minneapolis, and the person who returned to Mexico wasn't exactly the same one who left 5 days ago.

 

My last contribution for Intrepid, deals with a really nice synchronicity I experienced on my way to Minneapolis, involving my newly-found passion for the poet of Science Fiction --Ray Bradbury

Well put I couldn't agree more. I left with better memories from the people I met and the times I shared than with the actual presentations themselves. Which is not to say they weren't good as you know

I agree with you. The presentations were top notch, yet let's be honest: with the current tools at our disposal, we will start to see a shift in 'virtual conferences' where you will be able to receive the same information without leaving your home, and still interacting with the presenters via chat or e-mails.

So, in order to be able to be profitable, events like the Paradigm symposium will have to rely on achieving exactly what we all experienced during that wonderful weekend: an atmosphere of friendship, camaraderie, and openness that enables you to talk to a perfect stranger, and share some of your weirdest and most intimate experiences, without fearing ridicule or ostracism.

I really feel that Paradigm will swiftly turn into one of the most relevant events of the year, for the people who are tapped into the Fringier side of reality.

The guys have already booked the same hotel for next year --Double Tree by Hilton, Minneapolis Minn-- on the same weekend of the year too (Oct 17-20)
