Alondra

Alondra de la Parra

Alondra de la Parra is a young Mexican orchestra conductor. She recently released My Mexican Soul, an album composed of several of the most important orchestral music composed in Mexico over the past 2 centuries.

See video was the only thing worth watching during that charade organized by the government to "celebrate" the Bicentennial.

Lordy, lordy - what a dish. When talent and beauty collide it just seems like the universe is having itself a Coke after all.

It almost seems unfair. Getting the talent AND the looks too? methinks someone stood in the line twice :-P

It's not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me...

Just kidding. I did watch AND listen to Alondra's performance during the Bicentennial celebration.

My sis Verónica also gave me her CD My Mexican Soul for my birthday —I would have preferred the DVD, but it'll do ;)
