Barack Obama: House Negro or Field Negro; Who is His Master?

BARACK OBAMA: HOUSE NEGRO OR FIELD NEGRO; WHO IS HIS MASTER?

By: Fahim A. Knight-EL

President-Elect Barack Obama has been left with a decaying corpse and a petrified carcass better known as the United States Government, which has declined and reached an unbearable political, economic and social stench and is in dire need of fumigation because postmortem has left our government with some intolerable fumes. President-Elect Obama will be assuming one of the worst U.S. Government’s in the history of the American republic to ever be turned over to a president-elect.

This just could be mere coincidental that the first U.S. elected African American president in the history of United States will inherited nothing to work with or was this possibly done by designed. Many have gotten caught up in the so-called historical moment that a black man is sitting in the "Big Chair" and failed to take a serious look at the economic mess (recession or depression) that President George Bush has left President-Elect Obama, in particular and the American people in general.

President-Elect Obama will be inheriting a ten (10) trillion dollar U.S. Deficit and there is not enough tax dollars to service the interest and repay the principle. But just stop for one damn moment and just do a little thinking, something that most people are not accustom to doing; and ask yourself a logical question, who is behind this enormous and in surmountable national debt that is choking the American people to death?

When President Bush took office the national debt was approximately five (5) trillion dollars and upon him leaving office that national debt has almost doubled. Bush is no doubt a low level operative who dealt the Invisible Rulers a perfect hand. For example, where I am from, the boys on the street would say they are stealing money hand over fist, as it relates to the $750 billion dollar bailout—the ignorant United States tax payers have agreed to one of the biggest scams in the history of the United States. The talk about reforming Wall Street and imposing Congressional oversight, which to so-called ensure the American people that this recent economic meltdown will not ever occur again, is a laughable joke. These ploys were mere votes of acquiring public confidence designed to further luring the ignorant masses to sleep. Wall Street doesn’t factor into determining how the money is moving; these public world markets are powerless and are at the dictates of those who have stolen the world’s gold and silver, as well as the world’s resources. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and President George Bush both should be charged with treason and sedition. This so-called bailout is a criminal act against the American people.

The United States Government is, and has been treating the symptoms since 1913 and the problem (disease) the Central Banks and the International Bankers have been intentionally ignored and allowed to function without boundaries and parameters. They have been inspired by greed and motivated only by the accumulation of wealth. (Reference: Eustace Mullins; “The Secrets of the Federal Reserve”).

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us in the 1970s with his book titled, "Fall of America" that there were two industries that one should always keep their eyes on—automobile industry and the steel industry because if they began to depreciate the fall of America is inevitable. The automobile industry is now seeking an economic bailout; the automobile industry is life bloodline of United States economy. This writer can remember how the scholars and social scientist dismissed Mr. Muhammad and now almost forty years later his words have been proving to be prophetic. (Reference: Elijah Muhammad: "The Fall of America").

None of the politicians, United States Congress or President-Elect Barack Obama have uttered one word about reforming the United States Federal Reserve System. This writer wonders, why? Surely they must know that the root of the United States and the world's economic crises are tied to this non-governmental and private entity called the United States Federal Reserve. Just imagine having the ability to create money out of thin air, now that is a serious magician trick and be able to perform the same magical trick for almost one hundred (100) years and only a hand full of people are able to see and detect that someone is pulling the purse strings and is altering reality and has turned the unbelievable into the believable. These money magicians are good, I mean really good. The crimes, pain, suffering, injustices, tyrannical acts, oppression, etc., they have heaped upon humanity, it's enough to make a brass monkey cry. Reference: William Greider; “Secrets of the Temple: How the Federal Reserve Runs the Country”).

This writer grew up in a Christian Baptist Church (perhaps was more liken to a fundamentalist Pentecostal church) and I can not recall the exact name of the hymn, but it went something like this, He has the world in his hand, He has the whole wide world in his hand" (I am not referring to Jesus or even God). These vipers literally have the entire world in their hand and at their disposal. The Invisible Rulers functions as Sovereign Gods and they direct the affairs of men and determine the political, economic, and social failures or prosperity of all nations. They have the ability to create human catastrophes by inducing all manner of artificial crises. (Reference: David Icke: “The Biggest Secret”).

They constantly manipulate the world's money and resources and then hide behind front organizations (here are two good ones—the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund) and then use their most lethal weapon—the media to constantly dumb down America and the world. The average person doesn't have a mere clue of what the hell is going on and they think this economic meltdown was just some bad decisions that were being made by top executives of these wealthy Fortune 500 companies which put us in this economic predicament. Many of them are beyond convincing because the corporate media is molding and shaping public opinion and is doing a nice job at it based on our level of ignorance. Who has the ability to call for the debt? (Reference: Gary Allen and Larry Abraham: “None Dare Call it Conspiracy”).

This is the sixty-four thousand dollar question. Surely not the executives and CEOs of Lehman Brothers, Fannie Mac, Freddie Mac, Citi Bank, AIG, Bear-Sterns, GM, etc., these are low-level operatives; they do not have that type of power and authority to determine the flow of the world's money; granted these are some powerful entities in their own right, but there are some much more powerful and sovereign entities than meet the naked-eye. They are truly invisible and are untouchable. (Reference: William Cooper: “Behold A Pale Horse.”)

Yes, the so-called economic meltdown and bailout is being orchestrated behind the curtain by those forces that possess the ability to make and print money (that is not backed by real currency or tangible collateral—gold and silver) and determine interest rates and determines the day too day value of America and the world's economy.

Also, President-Elect Obama will be inheriting two international wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and it just so happens to be two Islamic Nations. This translates to mean that the United States Foreign Policy relative to Islam and Middle East will continue to be strained because Obama has surrounded himself with the likes of his Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel who is without doubt a Zionist and will perhaps be instrumental in shaping the direction of United States Foreign Policy for the next eight (8) years. Who will be running the United States Government and have these forces already decided upon waging war against Iran? (Reference: Richard A. Clarke “Against All Enemies: Inside America’s War on Terror”).

President-Elect Obama just appointed Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State, the New York Senator who in 2003 signed on to George Bush’s going to war against Iraq; although there was not any substantial evidence or intelligence that Saddam Hussein posed a threat to the region and/or there was no proof that he had acquired Weapons of Mass Destruction. Who interest or bidding Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be lobbying for in the Middle East? (Reference: Scott McClellan; “What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception”).

This writer knows for sure it will not be on behalf of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, etc. These appointees that Obama is making will not go into the Middle East with an objective perspective and the U.S. Foreign Policy will perhaps continue to be backwards and driven by the money changers and the war mongers. This writer and millions of others would like to see some balance in the Middle Eastern equation and, in particular in the Israeli-Palestinian issue—not some one sided debate. (Reference: Obadiah Shoher; “Sampson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict”).

This is not the solution to resolving this conflict; it will only heighten the contradictions and create more political and social tension in this war torn region. However, someone has to be bold enough to demand and mandate an equal conversation where both parties Israelis and Arabs are giving the integrity and respect to be heard. If not it clearly becomes the breeding ground for what is deemed in the eyes of the beholder as “terrorism” or “freedom fighters.” The ultimate cards rest in the hands of the United States. (Reference: Jimmy Carter: “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid”).

However, this writer clearly understands that these two wars will not end until the Invisible Rulers decide and it will not be swayed by public opinion or by an act of the Executive branch or by United States Congress. The Rockefellers and Rothschilds are the two money masters who have a noose around the necks of the entire globe; they are fighting in Afghanistan over how the heroin trade is going to flow and the Taliban had fought the former USSR in a ten year war for the same commodity and now they are fighting the United States Government for this vast dope demand. (Reference: John Coleman; “Conspirators’ Hierarchy: The story of the Committee of 300”).

This conflict was never about combating so-called terrorism, it has always been about dope, the heroin trade. Pakistan has been a double agent for years—they have been on the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) payroll for many years and on Osama bin Laden payroll allowing dope to flow across its borders unabated and uninterrupted, the arrangement is called Dope Incorporated. Also, these den thieves are quick to say they have so-called joined the fight on terrorism—really! (Reference: George Tenet; “At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA”).

Obama has kept U.S. Defense Secretary and war monger Robert Gates on the job and his reactionary war strategies in the Middle East will perhaps resemble the same old ideas, which he advised under President George Bush. There are really only three forms of real money gold and silver, oil and drugs—the majority of international conflicts are centered on this reality. But has anyone noticed that the candidate who ran on a platform of change has filled his cabinet positions with the same old reactionary politicians of prior administrations, is this the change he so eloquently articulated throughout his campaign that captivated the imagination and vision of America and the world.

It was deemed change you can believe in or was this just a meaningless campaign slogan that had no substance and now the proof is in the pudding. The Native Americans use to say the white man spoke with a fork tongue because he trampled and violated all the treaties he had signed with the Native Americans. They said he could not be trusted because he was a liar and thief. This is this writer’s view of politicians; all of them talk with a fork tongue and most of them are silver tongue lying lawyers. President-Elect Obama has already forgotten who brought him to the big dance and the big chair; this statement is only to imply that the electorate is mere cannon fodder and our vote do not mean damn thing; this man was hand picked and he has no loyalty to his visible constituents; his loyalty is strictly to the Invisible Rulers and American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). (Reference: John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy).

Perhaps from another angle President-Elect Barack Obama did not pick his cabinet, but these appointments are being directed by the Bilderberger group, Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. The true forces that run the entire world; in fact Obama’s ascension to "power" and to the highest office in the world was made at the recommendation of these three entities; they set him on the throne and possess the power and authority to dethrone him, if he doesn't carryout their whims and wishes. (Reference: Daniel Estulin: “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group”).

Many of President-Elect Obama's cabinet choices are long standing members of the Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations, and Trilateral Commission members, which gives America and the global community some indication of who will be running the United States Government. The same old faces and the same old agenda and politics as usual, perhaps will be the order of the day. This does not represent change to me because once again, low level operatives will be doing the bidding for the Invisible Rulers to further enslave humanity. If a man almost denies his ethnic and religious up bringing, thus crossing (betraying) the electorate wouldn't even be a thought. He did everything humanly possible to disassociate himself from his early Islamic roots and when the Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahir allegedly called President-Elect Barack Obama a "House Negro”, it caught some people off guard. It was a dictum seldom used by other races to describe a certain aspect of African American behavior and it appeared a bit awkward coming from another oppressed ethnic people. Who are in dire need of allies. (Reference Carroll Quigley: "Tragedy and Hope”).

Zawahir stated:” You were born to a Muslim father, but you chose to stand in the ranks of the enemies of the Muslims, and pray the prayer of the Jews, although you claim to be Christian in order to climb the rungs of leadership in America. And in you and in Colin Powell, Rice and your likes, the words of Malcolm X (may Allah have mercy on him) concerning 'House Negroes' are confirmed."

Ayman al-Zawahir quoting from the words of the late Nation of Islam leader Minister Malcolm X has drawn some criticism relative to using the "House Negro" statement. Minister Malcolm X was critical of black apologist "Negro" leaders during the turbulent 1960s Civil Rights Era, which he said there are "two types of Negroes "Field Negroes" and "House Negroes" and Minister Malcolm X drew this analogy directly from what Historian Kenneth Stampp called the "Peculiar Institution" referring to Chattel Slavery, which created varying personality types according to the Historian Dr. John Blassingame who authored a sociological study titled, "Slave Community". Chattel Slavery (1555-1865) was an evil institution that affected the political, economic and social landscape of America. (Reference: John W. Blassingame; “The Slave Community”).

This is how Minister Malcolm X describes the "House Negro" and "Field Negro." Minister Malcolm X stated in a book written by Archie Epps titled, “Malcolm X and the American Negro Revolution: The Speeches of Malcolm X stated, “There were two kinds of slaves, the house Negro and the field Negro. The house Negroes—they lived in the house with the master, they dresses pretty good, they ate good. . .They loved the master more than the master loved himself. . . If the master’s house got caught on fire, the house Negro would harder to put the blaze out than the master would. If the master got sick, the house Negro would say, ‘What’s matter, boss, we sick? And if you came to the house Negro and said, “Let’s run away, let’s escape, let’s separate,’ the house Negro would look at you and say, ‘Man, you crazy. What you mean, separate? Where is there a better house than this?’

Minister Malcolm X further stated, “On that same plantation, there was the field Negro. The Field Negroes—those were the masses. The Negro in the field caught hell. He ate leftovers. In the house they ate high on the hog. The field Negro was beaten from morning to night; he lived in a shack, in a hut. . .He hated his master. He was intelligent. When the house caught on fire, he didn’t try to put it out; that field Negro prayed for a wind, for a breeze. When the master got sick, the field Negro prayed that he’d die. If someone came to the field Negro and said, ‘Let’s separate, let’s run’ he didn’t say, ‘where are we going?’ He’d say, ‘Any place is better than here!’ You’ve got field Negroes in America today. I’m a field Negro. The masses are the field Negroes.”

The Al Qaeda leader perhaps understood the social history of America, in particular and the African American in general, and the dynamics of power. We do know this much, they would not have put any man in the "Big Chair" to rock the chair, if he was not safe to be placed there; meaning based on Minister Malcolm X analogy they would not have put a "Field Negro" in charge of "Massa" plantation. They always have found the "right type of Negroes" and allowed them to make history or become history makers. So I totally understood the Al Qaeda leader’s statement and I must say I agreed with him, but they got some serious house cleaning to do relative to Arab Islam and the historical and modern African slavery dilemma.

Thus, whether you want to accept it or not President-Obama has signed on to the Invisible Rulers agenda; he is a political tool who will be loyal to doing their bidding. We have been duped into believing that the United States has made a huge step toward the continuing path of social progress based on a black token appointment. Obama's appointment is supposed to ease and quite racial tension, but we view this as token success, and this writer can say, it is a "House Negro" appointment. May be the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, DeBeers, Oppenheimers or perhaps the legendary Henry Kissinger is his master, but these names are not only the masters of Obama but are the masters over humanity. The Al Qaeda leader perhaps has forgotten that the Arabs are not in a moral position to critique the social history of African people’s experience under Chattel Slavery giving their own Arab brutal history of slavery in Africa under Islam and Arabism, which from the 8th Century to the 21st Century has been and are still involved in buying and selling black human cargo in Africa. So knowing the Arabs oppressive history in Africa, this writer took offense to the Al-Qaeda leader's less ingenious remarks. Whether not the Al-Qaeda leader made these allege remarks we will never know because it sound like something right out of the CIA play book. (Reference: Edward W. Blyden; "Christianity, Islam and the Negro Race")

Ralph Nader a former presidential candidate even he made a statement referring to President-Elect Obama as an "Uncle Tom" and even this characterization has historical inferences relating back to U.S. Chattel Slavery. Ralph Nader stated:” To put it very simply, he is our first African American president; or he will be. And we wish him well. But his choice, basically, is whether he’s going to be Uncle Sam for the people of this country, or Uncle Tom for the giant corporations.”

The black “Uncle Tom” personality was cunning, two-faced, and shiftless and was a traitor and a Judas who would consistently sell his own people out in order to be in the good grace of their Caucasian slave masters. This is what Minister Malcolm X had to say about the slave character "Uncle Tom." (Reference: Harriet Beecher Stowe; “Uncle Tom's Cabin; or, Life Among the Lowly”).

Malcolm X stated: Just as the slave master of that day used Tom, the house Negro, to keep the field Negroes in check, the same old slave master today has Negroes who are nothing but modern Uncle Toms, 20th century Uncle Toms, to keep you and me in check, keep us under control, keep us passive and peaceful and nonviolent. That's Tom making you nonviolent. It's like when you go to the dentist, and the man's going to take your tooth. You're going to fight him when he starts pulling. So he squirts some stuff in your jaw called Novocain, to make you think they're not doing anything to you. So you sit there and 'cause you've got all of that Novocain in your jaw, you suffer peacefully. Blood running all down your jaw and you don't know what's happening. 'Cause someone has taught you to suffer – peacefully. (Reference: Malcolm X Speech titled, “Message To The Grass Roots—Detroit; November 10, 1963).

This writer wonders why these slave analogies keep cropping up and may be it is out of political ignorance or may be it is subtle racism. But these insignificant matters are being created as distractions from the real issues. The Invisible Rulers are not concerned about race and gender of their servants; they use these variables as sidebars when necessary in order to create social division, disharmony and chaos, while they continue to fill their coffers at the expense of the suffering masses. Thus, believe me President-Elect Obama is no more of a "House Negro" than the other past forty-three (43) United States Presidents. All of them took their marching orders from a clandestine and hidden powerful Cabal. Yes, the U.S. President and all world presidents are slaves to the Invisible Rulers and perhaps Nader and Ayman al-Zawahir are in denial of this reality. (Reference: Naim Akbar; “Chains and Images of Psychological Slavery”).

That may have been the truth when Mr. Muhammad wrote that, but is it still the truth?

100 years ago American Economy was sustained by its railroads. 50 years ago the railroads were replaced by cars. But technology keeps moving forward.

Today, the American industry is being maintained by the spoils of the Space Race and the Cold War, with personal computers and the Internet being the biggest fruits.

And we have to keep something in mind: Detroit's big 3 are in deep trouble, but they are not the only auto companies giving jobs to American workers; or aren't there plants of Honda & Toyota in US soil?

Now, talking about your analogies of Field Negro and House Negro, let me ask you this: What would happen if those two switched places? Would the Field Negro change his attitude and begin to love his master, and would the House Negro begin to hate him and find a way to flee?

Is it all circumstantial? Like that movie with Eddie Murphy & Dan Aykroyd, 'Trading Places'?

In these times of crisis people tend to cut off 2 things: entertainment and purchase of unnecessary replacements.

Right now, if people were thinking of buying a new car, they will instead keep their old model for another year.

That said, I did buy a new car this year. My old one was giving me too much trouble, and the repair shop I used to take it to was ripping me off...

Mr. Muhammad was one of my teachers and I will always respect his teachings and surely the Nation of Islam is one of the few Black Organization that I have tremendous respect for (these are some real “Field Negroes”). Thus, you have to put Muhammad's words within the context of time, the 1970s and not take them out of the time context. He was a visionary and said my teachings can be summed up in six words, "accept your own and be yourself".

My article can not be deduced down to just the problems of the three giant automobile makers; I raised the question, who has the ability to call for debt? You can not begin to evaluate or assess these symptoms, unless you understand that these economic crises are being induced by someone.

The Central Banks, Federal Reserve and the mother of all Central Banks, the International Bank of Settlement are driving the U.S. economy and the world economy to a downward spiral. Yes and the invisible Dynastic Families have the world in a stranglehold and are choking the life blood out every economy the world over. The $750 billion dollar bailout is a heist and a criminal scam against the American Taxpayers. These agent provocateurs should be charged and convicted of federal conspiracy laws and subject to the R.I.C.O. Statures and sentenced to a United States Department of Justice (Federal Bureau of Prisons) Facility for an active sentence.

The "House Negro" and "Field Negro" these personalities and behavior patterns can not be separated from how they came about, which was created under the institution of Chattel Slavery (1555-1865). I can teach you about some "Field Negroes" who did not desire to capitulate to "Massa" plantation rules both historical and presently and have always opposed the status quo.

For example, Reverend Nat Turner led one of the bloodiest Slave Rebellions in 1831 in South Hampton County Virginia; he said give me liberty or give me death—this would be a perfect example of a "Field Negro" they only desire freedom, liberation, justice and equality; they do not give a damn about the "Massa" and his house rules. Harriet Tubman the Underground Railroad was a "Field Negro" she fought for the liberation and freedom of slaves in the United States and helped free thousands of slaves who made their way to Canada. She use to carry a 45 Pistol and once she revealed the plan and the escape route to a slave; you were not allowed as a slave to turn around and back out because of the fear of betrayal. She would have killed you herself than risk strategies of liberation.

They picked President-Elect Barack Obama because he has the right temperament, he will not do anything but follow their rules, he was educated and trained by them and essentially it is good for him to be in the House (or better yet in the White House) no pun intended. I have always been more partial toward "Field Negroes" and I do not give damn about no "House Negro" who wants play this game with the system.

They would not have picked Reverend Jeremiah Wright or Minister Louis Farrakhan because they would be considered "Field Negroes" who will rock the Big Chair—we desire Freedom and Liberation not "House Negroes." His appointment is a representation of token success and that is how we view it. He was handpicked to be a good boy for "Massa" and to do "Massa" bidding. What do you think?

Fahim,

On several posts you have stated your belief that the current economical crisis is the direct result of a machiavelical manipulation performed by undercover power groups.

While I don't doubt there are many speculative groups that try to influence the flow of the markets, I still think that what we are witnessing now was more the result of incompetence and short-sightedness on behalf of uncoordinated banks and stock-brokers. These people should definitely be in jail, I'm with you on that.

Ask yourself this: Why would these 'secret powerful men' risk choking the goose of the golden eggs? The system can sustain only so much abuse, don't you think? Or do you believe these people desire to revert the world into a new Middle Age, with a few people living in castles—that were nothing more than comfortable fortresses—while the rest of the world lives in the mud and killing each other for scraps?

They pick Obama because he was the one who followed a career aimed at gaining a position in public service. A person who goes to Harvard has a better chance at getting a better job, but Obama wasn't no rich kid who had his scholarship being paid by his trust fund. The fact that the man won a scholarship to such a prestigious institution says something about the man's character and abilities.

Did Jeremiah Wright or Farrakhan ever run for a public office in the first place? or did they choose to serve their community while remaining in an independent sphere?

Here in Mexico I often hear people complaining about what kind of politicians get elected. People sometimes say that without the tie and the suit most of them look like street thugs—and some began their career that way! But I always tell those people: the reason that man or woman is holding a position in the government and you don't, it's because YOU let them!

Because we choose not to follow a political career, we leave a void that has to be filled by someone, and unfortunately most of the time is being filled by the less able.

Let me ask you another thing: Have you considered a career in government? Maybe not in Congress, but how about in the local government of your home city?

Minister Farrakhan or Reverend Jeremiah Wright do not make good servants for "Massa" and in fact, "Field Negroes" period do not make good elected politicians because of the modern day plantation rules. They groom "House Negroes" a certain way; they are allowed to attend "Massa" schools and universities and if they like him/her they may even give them a Rhode Scholarship to Oxford University or the Sorbonne in Paris. They would take a community activist and junior Senator and make you president over "Massa" House as long as you remained safe and non-threaten and do as the "Massa" tell you too. Farrakhan is not that type of a game player, I personally know the man and his integrity. The Keeping Real Thank has done some joint ventures with the Nation of Islam and we are proud of that alliance. My work is in the trenches with the masses who are "Field Negroes" and we do not want the crumbs that falls from the rich man's table. I truly have very little respect lying politicians who say and do what is expedient.

Here are my thoughts on the the Invisible Rulers. These gangster have no shame in their game, they are continuingly making zillions of dollars off the misery of humanity on the backend and then hold the ignorant masses on the front-end liable for the recent financial woes, which they themselves created—they are bent on getting all the money from their modern day slaves (yes debt is a form of slavery). Texe Marrs in his book titled, "Circle of Intrigued: The Hidden Inner Circle of the Global Illuminati Conspiracy stated, "Cloaked in mystery and shrouded in secrecy, the Inner Circle is comprised of ten powerful men. These men meet regularly--at least twice per year--secluded location. Their proceedings take place in a locked and sealed suite at a swank and exclusive resort hotel, or at a private estate owned by one their minions. Their decisions and agenda, kept top secret, result in the most dire and grievous consequences for ordinary citizens. Wars, revolutions, scientific discoveries, diseases, financial booms--and crashes!--these are some of the life-giving-destroying decisions made at their confidential sessions. The future of Planet Earth and almost six billion inhabitants is plotted out in the dark recesses of the mind and hearts of these ten cruel men. Most American know little or nothing of the existence of the Inner Circle and are totally oblivious to its grand design." (Reference: Texe Marrs; "Circle of Intrigued: The Hidden Inner Circle of the Global Illuminati Conspiracy" pg. 15 &16).

Lula da Silva, the current President of Brazil, comes from very poor upbringings. From the favelas and the workers unions. He climbed the ladder of political power and now he's the leader of his country.

My point is, if we keep refusing to involve ourselves in the political arena, we cannot complain later about the outcome.

Maybe the reason people like Farrakhan or Wright don't get elected has nothing to do with the Field Negro issue; maybe it just have to do that they don't like to be team players. It's all right, I'm a very individualistic person myself, but I also acknowledge that a good person within the system will accomplish 10 times more than what I will ever do as a "Lone gunman".

I'm not saying we should all join a political party, but at least in America it is still possible to run for office as an independent candidate. And those get elected once in a while.

Also, what do you make of the appointment of Bill Richardson as Secretary of Commerce? Why didn't Obama choose a jew? Or are the Mexicans part of the conspiracy too? Maybe for those 10 men you write about—BTW why 10? why not 12, 11 or 100? how does that Marrs know?— color of skin is not that important when choosing the people who would follow their secret orders, in which case we should stop talking about Race issues, since clearly race is not an obstacle to attain power inside that inner circle!

Bill Richardson is a lapdog; he is a member of the Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations and a Bilderberger member. This is where people are getting confused—race, nationality and ethnicity have nothing to do with those who have signed on as low-level operatives. These agent provocateurs abhor nationality and their loyalty is to the agenda. Senator Barack Obama has already forgotten his most loyal constituents he received 95% of the African American vote and 68% percent of Hispanic vote without these two bloc votes he would not be sitting in the position that he is sitting in. But look at his cabinet appointees; thus, Richardson was picked as a second thought to head the Commerce Department. I disagree with your reasoning about sitting back and complaining. I am so lucky to live in a Democracy where people have the reasonable right to dissent and it is protected under the United States Constitution. We do not view political agitation, and/or exposing the United States contradictions as what you described complaining. These anti-thesis sentiments are just part of the many voices that is part of a democracy and it is what makes the concept of democracy a health process. I know some of these reactionary neo-cons on the forum wished, I lived under a different style government.

What would you prefer: that Obama's presidency fails in order to confirm you were right about him, or that he proves you wrong?

Let me say this, I too share the passion, love and admiration for President-Elect Obama as an African American man. But let me share this point, my wife loves the Tom Joyner Morning show and from time to time I would catch Tavis Smiley’s commentary (also a PBS commentary). Thus, during the presidential campaign Smiley made some critical, but what I perceived as fair remarks on the radio show critiquing Obama. Some of Tom Joyner's listen audience took offense to Smiley offering a critical evaluation of President-Elect Obama's campaign. Thus, here is my contention, no leader or politician should be above offering a critical analysis whether I agreed or not with Smiley offering a critical evaluation was not the point, but I saw the conversation that Smiley was trying to have with Black America as a healthy one. You do not ascend to the Highest Office in the World based on America being a nation of opportunity. We had to fight and struggle to be apart of the opportunity that America so declared she stood for. But the ascension to POWER requires many compromises and there are some hidden entities that factor into this equation. I have a ten (10) year old daughter, and I wish could tell her with a straight face that America has changed and race, privilege, gender, etc., no longer factor into how this external society views you. No, I must let her know that a token appointment does not resolve 430 year dilemma. Our Brother was chosen long before we cast the first ballots.

Yes, as citizens we have two responsibilities: criticize the government and all the members of the 3 powers, and help them in every way we can to improve the lives of the people.

By all means, criticize the man when he does something wrong. Be relentless. But also, be fair.

And yes, I agree that to arrive into power you need to shake a lot of hands under the table; in politics you need to learn the art of compromise, otherwise either you're so stubborn that won't get any of the things you intend to attain, or you arrive with your hands already tied.

Where I don't agree with is to see in this process a deliberate manipulation (i.e. someone pulling ALL the strings).

Have you considered the possibility that Politics is a self-sustained system that automatically chooses which persons climb to the highest steps, and which ones are kept below? That it is a mindless beast controlled by no one, but at the same time everyone feeds it and maintains it by playing according to rules that no one wrote but everyone agrees to?

In other words, that so many people benefit from it that no one actually controls the totality of it; and enables it to acquire a life of its own.

I learned a long time ago, that it is not wise to trust a politician or to place all your eggs in one basket. Politicians are masters at the art of lying and deceiving and often saying what people want to hear or saying what is politically expedient, but has no intentions of delivering on their promises of being good stewards of public policy. Many of them, exploit the concepts of expediency, in their quest to appease their financial backers and to ensure their interest are always front and center because this guarantees their own economic and political mobility; regardless of the political aspirations of their constituent base. This is what matters to a politician and in essence, all public policy is shaped outside the electorate by a few powerful individuals—their motive is always profit and greed and is far removed from the concept of democracy.

Many like myself, have produced documented evidence and have done empirical research to substantiate our findings, which points to the fact, that clandestine forces do exist and they secretly rule over humanity. These present crisis are explainable and some economist or academician are paid to give us abstract and generic answers, but in most instances, even these Talking Heads have little to no knowledge that someone is pulling the purse strings. Our critics have bought into the popular view of the powerful propaganda machines which is the most influential and powerful arm of the Invisible Power Brokers.

The people we see running the show, are the people running the show. By continuing the narrative/story of Invisible Rulers, the blame is placed on those who don't exist. Kinda like the Catholic Church doing the will of God the Invisible, yet its really the Vatican's will...

Perhaps they do not exist to you, but too many who know and understand their power and control, it is evident. I guess the Federal Reserve is "Federal" and not privately owned and I guess the Central Banks do not exist or what about the names of those who control them? I guess Amschel Rothschild words, "Let me control nation's money and I care who not rights its laws" does not exist. I guess who ever called the debt in, does not exist. I guess that 750 billion dollar bailout or better yet heist did not occur. Huh! You might try to convince someone else because I am not convinced by your words. My narratives are well researched and all my contentions are well cited. This is nothing Fahim made up and there are many that access this site that agrees with me and many people email me privately expressing their agreement and some see no need to express their views on the board and I respect their position to talk with me off the TDG board.

Wow talk about racist. And throw in some religion! That's just messed up, and nasty. Does the fact that Obama is of direct African decent and not slave decent have any factor in your racist rant? And you wonder why the slave analogies continue...? Maybe you should take a go look in the mirror.

Cite on thing that is racist in the article; your inference is baseless. The conversation was essentially started by two persons, the Al Qaeda Leader Ayman al-Zawahir who called President-Elect Barack Obama a "House Negro" and Ralph Nader who called the President-Elect Obama an "Uncle Tom" I guess you did not consider them saying these statements as being racist. I only wanted to further the conversation that is why I wrote the article. Now! As an African American, I reject you using a racist slur in your caption. The "N" word is racist and inexcusable. The term Negro does not equate to using the "N" word. We reject this word; we should be able to argue our points with respect and dignity.

Really Fahim, you do make the impression of being a rather extreme racist.

I suggest that you read your work from an outsider's point of view. Look in the mirror, so to say. Relax, and rethink.

Hi Fahim,

I have to confess, I think the title of your post is unnecessarily provocative, and you should be more than willing to accept that people may get upset by it. Having read the post, I can see the context of it, but for people browsing TDG and not having time to read through it properly (or knowing you better), it gives the impression of a racist posting. Further, I think even there is a 'soft' racism in suggesting that an African American man has to fit into one of these two categories, and as Bladerunner suggested it's no wonder that this sort of thing gets propagated when people keep making such simplistic assertions.

Though I received a number of complaints about this post, I can't see anything actionable (though as I said, I think it would pay to think more about how your posts will be perceived). But I would urge you to take a little more care in how you present your arguments.

Kind regards,
Greg

Greg, I agree the title was definitely provocative to say the least. Thus, I was initially highly offended by the Al Qaeda leader calling President-Elect Barack Obama, a "House Negro"; we had a huge discussion and debate over this remark at the Keeping iT Real Think Tank. Some in the organization totally understood Arab Islam and their involvement in the African Slave Trade and some argued that the Arabs are still buying and selling black human cargo even in 2008.

A few members said the Al Qaeda leader had some damn nerve to make this kind of racist and reactionary statement about President-Elect Obama, a black man of African descent.

I went back and pulled Minister Malcolm X speech relative to the "House Negro" and "Field Negro" and listened to his words and actually read the speech for myself. Minister Malcolm X was critical of status quo black Civil Rights leadership in the 1960s; his criticism was often aimed at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and what he called the Big Six Civil Rights leader.

Thus, I think right before the Al Qaeda leader's remarks Ralph Nader referred to President -Elect Barack Obama as an "Uncle Tom". I thought again the inference had a racist overtone and as a person of African descent, I was a bit offended by Nader's remarks also. So what I desired to do was to further the conversation and historically assess and evaluate these remarks—they were not remarks that originated with I, but did you notice not no one response to this thread on TDG condemned the Nader or the Al Qaeda leader remarks as being racist, I did, and I was very critical of Arab Islam and stated they were not in a moral position to call President-Elect Obama and any other black leader a "House Negro."

I admit that the article had a racial overtone, but not a racist overtone. Bladerunner using the "N" word must be condemned as a racist slur and in no way fit into the discussion. This word is a highly charged word and is very sensitive to African Americans and to them it is a racist terminology.

You and the other moderators have been fair to me and others, but I think you would agree I have not crossed the TDG guidelines. I have been involved in academia for years and professors use to be protected by something called academic freedom, which allowed the professor and scholars to teach ideas freely, even if those ideas were controversial because a college setting (and even a Blog setting) is about exposing the students to varying schools of thought and allow them to eventually determine what is the truth. I know when you post on any Blog site you agree to the house rules, in particular if you are not the owner of the website; it does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

However, I am a bit surprise that the Blog drew that kind of attention, as far as people asking you to remove the article. Yes, a bit surprised, but one would have to read the entire article to understand where I was going with the topic. I am glad you took the time to do so and that statement is not to suggest that I think you agreed with the article.

You are researcher and a man that delves into ideas and you are probably good at constructing your argument (I am basing this on me reading your book Solomon Key); a good scholar allows the research and the evidence to be the guide and we are only obligated to present an empirical argument and what ever your hypothesis were when you started; it may be confirmed or rejected at the conclusion of the research, but upon completing the research based on deductive reason and evidence data you are confident to say here are my findings (this is probably a little more applicable to pure science than social science disciplines).

I have heard for year’s censorship coming from people who disagreed with a topic; they start yelling that certain ideas have no place in the classroom or on the university level. I always disagreed with the majority of those sentiments because it is about exposure. I have seen some crazy and ridicules topics and even some absurd threads posted on TDG, but you have never gotten one complaint from me relative to an absurd topic. If you as the moderator view it as acceptable and in the confides of the rules, why not have the conversation?

Lastly, thank you and the other moderators for being tolerable of us all and as you notice RedPill and I had a very good tolerable and civil conversation last night relative to the thread. We eventually agreed to disagree, but racist slurs no room for that. Please keep getting us monkeys straight, because we aren’t running anything.

I am not going to get into the debate about the type of negro Obama is, or the racism some people see in some discussions. Others can respond far better than me.

Instead, I would like to refer to the aspect Fahim brings of the "secret group behind the scenes" debate.

I can assure you I can perceive that there is a group behind the scenes, and I can recognise very quickly when they are at work.

Even today, in the UK, we have someone who is working partially behind the scenes on an official level, but also has through his own notoriety been visible, and little is truly being said about the influence he has on the people who truly do have the official power.

I am referring to Peter Mandelson, who started off as an MP, left to become an EU Commissioner, and has since been encouraged to resign this post, and return to the UK, been made a Lord, and is now running a government department, even though he can't actually enter the House of Commons now he is a Lord, and has never said anything in the House of Commons, or allowed anyone else from his department to do so, even though there have been requests for information on the floor of the house. At least that is what I have been informed is the case. Apologies if I am wrong.

Personally, I believe that Mandelson is actually quite an intelligent and effective man, certainly far better than other politicians today, but his motives and attitudes oppose the very fundamental essence of democracy. It is a pity, for he could do so much good for this country. Instead he appears to be encouraging a hidden agenda. His recent responses to the idea of putting the UK into the Euro and getting rid of the Pound Sterling is one such idea, but he has also rewritten the recent Queen's speech - something that was always done by others in the cabinet - and his influence on Gordon Brown, and others is legendary. Gordon Brown is just a puppet, and it is now Mandelson who is calling the shots. Neither of them has been elected to their posts within government by the people, and the fact that a Lord can be so influential in the Commons government smacks of dictatorship.

There have been plans for a long time to abolish ancient nations and create a handful of new federations on a global scale. To go with these new federations is the idea of a new currency, and the Euro is but one of what would only be a handful of currencies remaining in the world. Even the US$ is in danger of being immersed in a new currency called the Amero which will be used within a larger federal grouping under the North American Pact, including the US, Canada, and Mexico. This has been planned for many many years but only has come to public attention during the past couple of years. This situation will worsen over the next four to five years, and soon we will have little left of the old traditional ideas of nationality, and currency.

But this is only a small aspect of what is being planned by people you have never heard of but who have a lot of influence in this world.

The ordinary person in the street is classed as nothing more than a "slave" by these people. Democracy never truly existed, although there was some public acknowledgement of it. It has always been, them and us, and today, the "them" (elite) are only interested in talking to the other "them" (elite) persons, as it is "them" who are considered to be the "only people that matter" in this world.

One of the EU leaders recently said that he had been talking to "the people that matter" in the UK and these people were interested in adopting the Euro. This will happen by stealth, so soon all our old values and loyalties will disappear.

A similar situation will happen in other parts of the world over the next few years, and you can be sure that there will be a small number of people behind it. In that I believe Fahim is right. But to see such things it is necessary to accept that the people running the world at present are only puppets who will say and do anything they are told by the secret/behind the scenes elite. Otherwise, the people who are running the world today are so incompetent that we are doomed anyway.

The Amero story is a modern myth. Yes, it was proposed by several intellectuals, and even a coin-maker enthusiast went on to make a few examples of the Amero (rather ugly coins if you ask me). But that idea would never fly with the public, and it's not supported neither by Canada or Mexico, although I think Mexico wouldn't have much of a problem adopting it, considering we already have a hybrid economy, with a lot of transactions made with American dollars. Many things here in Mexico have a price in dollars, specially in real estate.

Ecuador 'dollarized' its Economy some years ago, which was clearly a mistake financially speaking. But let me ask you this Carol: Is the opposition to replace the pound for the Euro more based on cultural attachment than Economic considerations? Because frankly, history show us that Economies and countries need to evolve, lest you guys would still be using Roman sestertius!

I'm not against a One-World government. I'm against a One-State government.

Carol thank you for that lesson and I must admit there is so much about the United Kingdom political structure and system that I do not know and your response was truly educational to me. I had come to the realization some years ago, the more you think you know, you will eventually come to the realization of how much you do not know. I truly believe there are some hidden entities and powers that exist and function on a local and global level. Carol your response should have been posted as a thread because there is a lot in your analysis. I think RedPill has doubts about how these forces operates and one of their must effective strategies is coercing governmental officials and turning them into puppets. Yes, manipulating currency is a top and high priority. I was having a similar discussion relative to a clip posted by Hal Turner and the Amero. You and Redpill might find this link interesting; he is dealing with the Amero and talking about the master plan of these powerful hidden entities:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 8565&hl=es

The U.S. Congress and the president do not give damn about the interest of the American people. What is it going to take before we wake the hell up? The same bloodsucking Cabal the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, the Morgans and their blood descendents with this latest Wall Street crises decided to take another move on the chessboard, which is slowly calling the debt in. (Reference: Arthur Koestler Thirteen Tribes).

After-all it is their money or at least their illusion—now on the Unites States side of this issue, they will soon declare our Federal Reserve notes valueless and obsolete—no longer to be accepted as the medium of exchange, but this recent induce panic is causing people to start stock piling Federal Reserve notes and after purchasing all this worthless paper, they will soon find out they have nothing. Thus, the invisible rulers will come out and declare your Federal Reserve notes as being unredeemable as an exchange note to be used for commodities—goods and services.

Thus, this is a worthless piece of paper which has been deemed to have more value than all of humanity. This writer can not imagine telling the Rothschilds that money has no value—and in its truest sense it doesn't, the assigned value and/or there lack of, has presently driven the United States economy and for that matter the entire world economy to its knees and almost to the brink of economic destruction—effecting all the world's markets and the flow of money.

President George Bush nor the United States Congress have the power or authority to redirect the flow of money—these economic crises are being strategically and systematically led and guided by a small group of sovereign invisible world leaders who have called the debt-in; this was only a test run and a drill for what is to come, because the actual Fall of America is nearing. These powerful hidden entities uses the likes of Wall Street and other world markets to give the appearance that the flow of money start and stop at Wall Street; this is the furthest thing from the truth. President Bush nor the United Congress have the power or authority to redirect the flow of money—these economic crises are being strategically and systematically led and guided by a small powerful group of sovereign world leaders who have decided to call the debt in.

Dr. Carroll Quigley explains in his book titled, "Tragedy and Hope" stated, "It must be felt that these heads of the world's chief central banks were themselves substantive powers in finance. They were not. Rather, they were the technicians and agents of the dominant investment bankers of their own countries, who had raised them up and were perfectly capable of throwing them down. The substantive financial powers of the world were in the hands of these investment bankers (also called 'international' or merchants bankers) who remained largely behind the scenes in their own unincorporated private banks. These formed a system of international cooperation and national dominance which was more private, more powerful, and more secret than that of their agents in the central banks. . ."(Reference: Carroll Quigley;” Tragedy and Hope" pg. 326-7).

These powerful hidden entities uses Wall Street and other world markets to dish-out crumbs in order to keep a system of classism well oiled and intact and simultaneously fuel this antagonistic contradiction, which keeps labor invigorated and keeps the illusion that the perception of money or wealth is attainable for all societal participants. Thus, but only allowing a few to appear as tokens of economic success and keep the others always reaching up. The false economic model is designed to keep labor (the have nots) voluntarily and willingly accepting their enslavement with little resistance—having life time aspirations of pursuing a monetary instrument that has no real value. But functions as the medium exchange, which in reality, it only totally benefits those who have the power to assign its value. (Reference: G. William Domhoff; "Who Rules America?").

The only use and value that we have to the invisible rulers is our labor and even that is beginning to wane and depreciate in value to them. So you would think it to be logical for the political experts and the United States Congress to summons and subpoena those persons, be it the owners of the Central Banks or sovereign individuals into the halls of Congress and question them as it pertains to the American economic crises and ask them, what are their motives for and behind the devaluation of the United States Dollar and other world currencies? The writer is being a bit idealistic and is only posing this as a rhetorical question in order to stimulate thought.

However, they desire for us to believe that our system of credit had exceeded the availability of hardcore currency (remember the Invisible Rulers and the Central Banks had stolen the world's gold and silver along time ago; their paper money has been floating for almost 80 years, neither back by gold or silver) and it is this variable that is leading to deflating and flatten of the U.S. Dollar, which is causing this economic recession.

Some culture and religions already do that; thus, I do not see your connection and point relative to the topic of discussion. The Invisible Rulers are not interested in ritualistic ceremonies—their interest is wealth and power. They leave the myth and ritual work to the ignorant masses. When you take your communion you are symbolically partaking in an animalistic (human) blood ritual and they call that Christianity. Perhaps you should recommend a sheep sacrifice at your next communion. (lol)

I suppose earthling was making an allusion that these invisible rulers that control the world seem as fictitious to some people as the Old Testament God to others; thus, making a sacrifice of sheep to them would be as pointless as the sacrifice the Jews made before Jehovah in their temple.

As for me, my favorite sheep sacrifice is called Barbacoa. Now that would appease ME any time! ;-)

Of course I was referring to all the old religions, who sacrificed animals and sometimes people.

All to appease the invisible gods.

This is a sort-of circular story, I know. now we burn money that does not really exist.

Is the effect the same? As in not effect at all?

Of course everyone here knows that Fahim and myself have different points of view. Probably we are both wrong.

But I just wanted to point out the similarities between the ancient views and the newer views of the invisibles.

RPJ

I agree with you in that I oppose a One World Government, and One World State. This globe we live on is too diverse to be slotted into one set of procedures. We are all too different as a people for that.

But the Amero will come about unless someone really does something NOW to stop it, and I am afraid that it is now too late.

You say the people won't accept the Amero. Perhaps they won't, however, it will end up like the UK, as people still don't want to give up the pound sterling yet I can see it being foisted on us. Bit by bit the process is crawling along.

The US$ is in just as much a mess as the £ and I cannot see how you can retain it as a currency under present rules.

Already, the big bail out in many countries including the US is being used as an excuse to manipulate the governments to move towards a wider grouping of currency boundaries.

I accept that many people won't believe this is going to happen, but this is because so many refuse to accept that paper money is actually a false commodity that has nothing backing it up.

The money is becoming worthless, and soon it will be replaced by other so-called currencies, and eventually we will carry out transactions via electronic credits which are definitely nothing more than a bit of electric energy, a spark, than can disappear as quickly as it appears.

I know that at the moment I am working in two different currency frames in my own world: I discuss my future income in money via the Retirement Pension I will get next year, but I also know that the money is actually worth very little and could disappear, or become illegal tender immediately if someone in government said it was no longer usable. The Confederate money was suddenly unacceptable tender and worthless at the end of the US civil war!

I know how hard it is to accept that the powers that be can be so easily duped and controlled and in turn make us slaves to an almost hidden group of "elite" but I have had so many experiences in my life where the powers that be have not only shown themselves to be contradictory in their interpretation of the laws/rules of legislature in force, but have also acted in a very incompetent, sometimes deceitful way, usually because of cowardice.

It has hurt to believe this, my trust in the powers that be has been shattered, and my societal programming has been destroyed time and again. But I am rebuilding it on a personal level incorporating the knowledge I have gained from the experience and making my own decisions, not relying on everyone else all of the time to be right. No-one is right all the time, not even me! Everyone makes mistakes, and one of the biggest mistakes at present being made is believing that society can continue evolving.

Whilst we think we are going forward, we are actually going backwards, certainly as a species. We are now too reliant on machines/technology and other people. We are slowly disabling ourselves as a species and individuals. It is time we all woke up to the fact.

Nothing goes in a permanent straight line in this universe, everything is a wave, and a wave goes up and down. Time we all recognised that fact. Society at present is on the downward spiral.

Dear Carol,

Let me make clear that to me, the idea of a Global government is not repellent in itself. Not if it doesn't become a One-State, homogeneous culture where everyone hears only one type of music of pray to only one type of God.

And the idea of changing the world's currency—or backing all the currencies—with a universal 'credit' is fine by me, too.

Perhaps it's my Sci-Fi upbringing. Star Trek taught me that a One-World government would preserve diversity and help us reach the stars, and Star Wars taught me that universal credits are cool and very necessary if you want to charter a piece-of-junk spaceship that can make the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs ;-)

Whether we like it or not, the world is heading into an era where the old alliances and notions of 'country' will be rendered obsolete. We already experience that thanks to the Internet. I mean, look at me: I live in a place a world apart from your home, and yet we can share our thoughts on daily basis. Imagine what would happen when the generation that saw this amazing accomplishment dies and all living human on Earth will take for granted the fact that everyone is connected via the Web.

So again, I'm not opposed to the Amero, as long as it is not used to perpetuate rich people in their lofty positions, and poor people in their lot of misery.

But I still think the idea won't fly. At least not for several decades. And specially not in trigger-happy America! I read Fahim's comments and he seems certain the American people will just fold their arms and let the banks and companies sodomize them without uttering a complaint. From what I perceive as an outsider, I highly doubt it.

And here in Mexico people know how to fight for their rights—or 'perceived rights'—too! On the last term, the government wanted to build an Airport near the Capital and expropriate the land of some poor farmers. Well, the farmers refused this and won, using nothing but their stubbornness and a few machetes!

The machetes may have been the reason why the government gave in!

In this country we have had what few guns we had taken away from us, and the only guns left are those who are anti-establishment/criminal in intent, or the police/security forces who only a couple of decades ago didn't even consider the need for guns!

I look at the way the De Menezes family are being treated to realise that law enforcement is not what it used to be, and is actually a force to be afraid of - something that I never felt when I was younger!

As for not believing this whole idea will come about, please don't be too confident. I have watched and seen how it has been done in this country of mine, and I now see the same signs, in perhaps slightly different ways, in other countries.

I agree that nationalism may die out, but I don't think a one world government will be a good thing at all! The people running it care nothing for the ordinary person, whatever country they live in. These people are very carefully held behind security systems, and away from the general populace. One day you will suddenly find you can't do what you think you can do today, namely go against the authorities in a group!

The taser is also proving to be something to be feared, with people using them who have little idea of consequence, only the power that causing others pain can give them!

I would honestly like to believe the way you believe RPJ, but I can't. It seems the world is not yet small enough for us all to truly experience in similar ways.

Which is a great pity.

It wasn't really the machetes, Carol. It was the ghost of 68.

After the massacre of Oct 2nd 1968, the government realized that it would have to act more carefully when dealing with popular riots or massive strikes. They have become reluctant to use the force against people who block streets in protest for this or that.

But these people in high places, they should realize it is not in their best interest to have such a high polarization between the upper classes and the lower ones. Mainly because they wouldn't be able to enjoy their own money!

Here in Mexico I see with each year more BMWs, Alfa Romeos, and even a few Ferraris occasionally. But I also see that these cars need to be 'tailed' by a second car that carries the Ferrari owner's security guards; so the poor rich guy may have a sport automobile that can go from 0-60 in less than 3.5 seconds, but what good is it for him when he can't leave his guards behind?

You guys see what I'm getting at? It is in the interest of these secret powerful men —if they exist—to find a way to solve this mess. Maybe in the old days you could keep a big disparity between the rich and the poor, but that was because the poor thought the rich were descendants of the gods! Is that the same case in the XXIst century?
