Sanctus | Simon Toyne
If this is the work of a new talent, then how can it be highly anticipated? ;)
It's not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me...
It's all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!
Red Pill Junkie
Perhaps this is a threat, the first part of a trilogy?
But it sure is good to have marketing people, otherwise we would never know what is popular.
We are the cat.
Marketing aside, I finished reading the proof last night. It read like a movie (although some would say that is down to the powers of my extraordinary imagination). It's a little brutal in places (as desperate guardians of powerful secrets so often are). There was always the suspicion dancing around my peripheral consciousness of the outcome, even so, the ending was still a little of a surprise - if only because it made me smile...
so what's the novel about?
I've just finished the book and I really liked it. It reminds me a bit of the Dan Brown books I've read.
I've written about it on my blog: http://ratemybooks.com/2011/sanctus-by-s...
