::: NC Linear Anomalies near Outer Banks

A series of linear features has been marked off the coast of NC with Google Earth near Black Hammock on the NC outer banks.  The linear features appear to be a consistent color as some interesting patterns that have been found to the North near the Drain Islands.

The area West of the Drain Islands can be seen in the second image.  A pattern can be seen that contains some anomalous linear features.  The red arrows point to the linear areas.  The pattern appears to be the same color as the linear features above suggesting it is a similar material or composition.

From space the barrier islands almost look artificial.
