Will the real alchemist please stand up!?
Posted by Olympus at 18:47, 08 Oct 2010Tired of losing your cool?
Tired of "not fitting in"?
Tired of everything?
There's a pill for that!
Mental transmutation is the game and relation is the fame.
Stuck behind 3 cars at a stop light on the way to work, already 10 minutes late, it's 8am and I don't want to put up with this shit so early. Then a vagrant thought travels through my head like a whisp of air... "Influence is everywhere..." The light turns green and we all play follow the leader.
What couldn't have been said in that brief thought is the unanswerable worth of information obtained in mere seconds. All day at work I think and think and think...
If I'm the first at a stop light with a bunch of traffic behind me a choice is presented. Punch the gas or start off slow. Then I imagine the impact this choice will have on the people behind me.
What if a person is going to the store? Will my speed impact their arrival time? How long will the line be when they get to the store? Could the line's length have changed between different arrival times? If so how much more impact could this one event have? If I can impact someones life this much from just a simple stop light, how much more impact can I have through other means?
And so begins the spiral.
Mental: of or relating to the mind
Transmutation: an act or instance of transmuting or being transmuted:
a : the conversion of base metals into gold or silver
b : the conversion of one element or nuclide into another either naturally or artificially
Adaption for humanity is as easy as breathing. One may complain, cry, gripe, and hate their enviroment but no matter, it is what you make it, rejection is an illusion. It should go without saying that one doesn't need to love or cherish their enviroment either. With this thought in mind one can justify all their means, however moraly true is left to the conjurer. Nullify everthing.
When one enlarges their expectancies, "normal" actions become apparent. Almost. Observation and trending must be taken into account without it there is no starting point
Example- If I pose the same question in same enviroments to two seperate individuals and their answers are different one must weight the differences and evaluate the best outcome the second time around.
We do this subconsiously all the time. But bringing it into the light opens up much more than one would expect. Taking ones life into account and the understanding gained thus far builds a strong foundation.
Now, I'm leaving this blog entry here. For 2 reasons-
1. It's for future reference
2. Most importanty, see what others say and NO I don't claim to be a true alchemist... Not yet at least :D

Posted by Olympus at 22:55, 04 Oct 2010SYNOPSIS - Zeitgeist: Moving Forward, by director Peter Joseph, is a feature length documentary work which will present a case for a needed transition out of the current socioeconomic monetary paradigm which governs the entire world society. This subject matter will transcend the issues of cultural relativism and traditional ideology and move to relate the core, empirical "life ground" attributes of human and social survival, extrapolating those immutable natural laws into a new sustainable social paradigm called a "Resource-Based Economy".
THEATRICAL RELEASE - Zeitgeist: Moving Forward is planned to be released in 60+ countries and in 20+ languages starting January 15th 2011. This large scale release is not associated with any major distributor.
Good! If y'all haven't seen the first 2 here's the link to watch 'em http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
I believe mankind will reach our utopia someday (if we don't destroy ourselves) and it will be either a natural process or one like the zietgiest movement. I'll pick the latter if it gets here faster XD
¥ Wanted ¥ Protest Sign Ideas €
Posted by Olympus at 21:53, 21 Sep 2010I plan on attending the rallies being held by Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert on the 30th of October in Washington D.C. and in need of assistance. What I'm looking for is some assistance from my fellow TDG readers in helping me come up with an awesome idea for a protest sign to carry around while there. I'm not going to look for any peculiarities so any idea is all good, the more outlandish the better.
Bring on the creativity!

'bout time fellas...
I've been watching both shows for years. They are well-written, very funny, comedy central political satire shows. Hosts Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart are combining their viewership powers to rally hope stricken Americans to rise up on October 30th in Washington D.C. Seemingly, in response to the Glenn Beck Restoring Honor rally at the Lincoln Memorial http://www.glennbeck.com/828/.
It seems like a long time coming but a damn good time to have arrived.
True Blood: Season 3 Finale Chandelier UFOs Abound!
Posted by Olympus at 22:51, 18 Sep 2010True Blood: Season 3 Finale Chandelier UFOs Abound!
Plenty of action happened in last weekends True Blood finale! *Spoiler Alert*.
So I should say first off I'm very happy Russell Edgington the oldest vampire on the show didn't die. I'm still very disappointed Godric the 2nd oldest vampire died in the second season by means of the "True Death" after his failed attempt at martyrdom, he needed way more air time. "Forgiveness is Love, Love is all" and "Only peace follows death" said Godric at the beginning of the finale. Indeed. Russell's best piece of info was "Life is absurd" from the previous episode. But let me nit pick some points I liked about and disliked about the show in chronological order.
Godric appeared as an apparition to Eric last. Telling him to kill Russell before he gets rescued in order to end this 3000 yrs old vampires pain from the loss of his 700 year old partner Talbot. Now that Eric can't kill Russell since it will only bring him peace he buries Russell in cement while he's still burnt up with silver wrapped around his neck, that's crazy. I hope he escapes soon so he can wreak havok throughout the world.
My favorite part of the episode is when Sookie almost get's abducted by the chandelier UFO...Thank God, HBO has the video on their website: Ep. 36: Clip - Sookie runs through the forest What an interesting concept! I'm enjoying the fairy/alien parallel very much. When they warped out at the end of the show finally abducting Sookie they made the silhouette of a fairy, that was soooo awesome!
Nice revelation in Lafayette's life! Finds out he is some kind of hallucinogenic psychic. A type of psychic I would not want to be from the looks of it. And his boyfriend Jesus revealed himself to be a Brujería(brujo). I think when they both took vampire blood some of Jesus' power wore off on Lafayette. Thus the whole reason Jesus says "You kinda need to be taught" line after admitting he has powers.
Worst thing I can't stand going on is Tara and Sam's story lines. LAME!!!!!!! Sam is a schizo shape-shifter and Tara is the biggest drama queen in the world.
Best thing is Hoyt and Jessica are back together!!!!! YEAH :D So happy about that. Hoyt's mom pisses me off something fierce though. Is she really going to try to kill Jessica? Is she going to get silver bullets or forget and try shooting her with a real bullet doing nothing? All I know is that these two should be left alone and live happily ever after with little vampire kids running around!
Well, I think I'll leave it at this for now and let anyone else that wants to add their favorite parts to please do so. I'm also going to try and get some screen shots :D
Edit:
Ep. 36: Clip - Hoyt arrives at work
Hoyt's Mom is such a bitch
Here are some screen caps from IO9-

P.S. I really love that Chandelier UFO concept. I hope they use more strange connections like that!!! Even if you didn't watch the show but just saw the video I linked have to admit that is pretty neat :D
If Sookie is a fairy then so am I
Posted by Olympus at 03:43, 03 Sep 2010I get my fix of fantasy by watching an HBO series called "True Blood". It's about a small town in Louisiana called Bon Temps with a big cast of characters whom about half of them have somekind of supernatural ability. The main protagonist is Sookie Stackhouse whom recently found out she is a Fairy. The main antagonists are vampires with a dash of werewolves, werepanthers, witches, demigods, and mythical creatures abound.
This is a great show! In it's 3rd season now, which is about to end on Sept 12th. I'm a massive fan and have been following the show since it started...I LOVE TRUE BLOOD! I will say this though, the plots aren't great, they use weak plot twists to move onto the next step in the story line. Besides that the show is amazing, well, the vampires could come off a little more intelligent. I mean there's a 3000 year old vampire in this season who would seem to come off as a 300 year old(as strange as that sounds :D
Either way I'm going to write a recap of my own for the season finale to share with anyone who watches the show or just the season finale.
P.S. Godrick for life!
LFInfo on Black Smoke Entity
Posted by Olympus at 04:42, 25 Aug 2010If anyone has any type of information on a demon or ghost or whatever that is in the shape of a man completely made of black smoke (not streams of black smoke flowing out of it and is not the monster from LOST) with a possible symptom of seeing small black and white orbs(mostly black and excluding eye diseases) that seem to pop in and out of existence, please let me know. Also, may have a tendency to hang around for a while(I don't like the word "haunt") If need be I can give more specific info just not on the entity(cause that's all I know) but info like place and time.

Area 51 building with strange dust ring?
Posted by Olympus at 23:23, 13 Aug 2010I'm on Google Earth at the moment, looking at a building at Area 51 under either deconstruction or construction. But it's not the building I'm looking at, rather the strange circular reminants of something. Most likely dust, but what kind of dust, what would cause this circle of dust? Eitherway it's pretty cool, here's the coordinates
36• 55' 35'' N
116• 0' 25'' W
• = degrees....... I don't know how to do the degrees symbol on my iPhone.
Edit: spelling
Parental Guidance in the 21st Century
Posted by Olympus at 04:32, 09 Jul 2010We are living in a time of mass technological advances, instantaneous international communication, and profound discoveries in medicine and biology. In my mid 20s and having the privilege to travel all throughout the United States, I've come across a wide variety of individuals all with separate backgrounds, some from the country, some from cities, and some from suburbia. One thing we all hold obviously certain is that we all have parents, my parents being from the 60s-70s generation.
Now, it would take a hermit of grand scale to not see what this up-and-coming generations aptitude is like... text messages up the ass, word-mouth filters all but obliterated, angst towards God knows what, passive aggressive smiles, and attention spans that rival gold fish. Is it the drugs? the music? the internet?
What about the parents?
Every generation, of course, has its run ins with the up-and-coming. But when viewed over a larger time scale it seems a primordial bond is being slowly but oh how severely severed. If we imagine what parents 12,000 yrs ago would've passed on to the next generation, I would see much more information handed down then, compared to now. That's a strange thought, but it holds true in my mind. When taking into account our hunter and gatherer society, ancient religions, life-lines/family trees, etc were all passed down. Whereas many people I know can't name their own genealogy past a few generations, better yet recite the 10 commandments. Why is that? Logic would seem to dictate that more information would need to be passed on. Excluding, of course, this bullshit of an education system we have. Where does that information go? I for one am very saddened by this.
Why are these issues happening? Well, with job loss and materialism at an all time high...one can see a trend opening up there. Of course that goes without saying the expansiveness of levels one can view such problematic thinking of this God given responsibility that is called 'Parental Guidance'. Dealing with internal and external influences a parent may be held back some. But to what extent? I think it goes without saying, just how little parents teach their children now-a-days. So I won't go into much detail on what is and isn't being taught.
On a personal scale I view this as THE true cause of mass hysteria and the out-right loss of our true callings. If any of you are like me, this post could literally go on forever, I view everything as interconnected. All answers are 50/50, I could easily write this post about the younger generation themselves and their inability to question and learn more so than their predecessors. But how can they be expected to do so when surely the latter lack the ambition. Are we losing compassion? Are we losing touch with our fellow man? Are we giving all our intelligence away to silicon and filling the void with instinctual emotion?
