FEMA's waste of money: $100 million in ice is just the tip of the iceberg.
Now that the FDA's rejection of foreign food has been thoroughly discussed, I'm reposting a link to the article, above, and rephrasing my original question...
To any and all citizens of the U.S.:
What can we do to stop FEMA's god-awful waste of money? $100 million+ in ice is just the tip of the iceberg. (God, I hate puns, but there one is anyway.)
Do we need to contact our respective Congressional delegations, and not-so-politely request that they do whatever it takes to straighten out this agency?
Do we need to write letters to the editors of our local newspapers?
Do we need to write letters to the CEO of WalMart, requesting that he offer to give - or sell - the government a copy of WalMart's distribution/tracking software?
Do any of you U.S. citizens think any of the above would work, or do you have other suggestions?
Thanks you for any thoughts you may have on this matter.
