I live in Canada, been growing my own for 15 years. Never heard of that. Interestingly, the woman with short hair is a well known news anchor and reporter. Was surprised as heck she covered this story at some point and never seen a CBC, which is the Gov TV station, do a news item this controversial before. Seen her in fish poisoning, insurance fraud, heroine shooting centers in BC and the likes.

Thanks for the scoop. Will try to make some of that oil and check the results on the love of my life (wife...) stuck with MS for the last 5 years. Better than smoking it I guess :)

Well, it's kind of a corny documentary. But my aesthetic sense souldn't allow me to dismiss the message. I too think modern medicine should do serious studies about the medicinal properties of cannabinoids. It may not be the panacea these guys claim, but it may turn out to do a lot of good.

The great folly in all this is to see everything in terms of black & white. Drugs are not the great scourge of mankind, nor do I believe it is the great answer; if used properly —i.e. not for recreational use— I'm sure they could be a great tool.

actually the great amount of synthesised chemicals out there that mimic the humans endocrine system is enormous. Much simplier cures are found in the plant world that are safer and more effective but have no financial benefit to drug companies.
We will, in time to come, suffer the consequences of this abuse. The effects are already being displayed but are misrepresented as enviromental.
Anywhere great profit is to be made, we are exploited.
If you believe otherwise then you will not see the obvious.

Much medication is plant derived. Antibiotics are derived (some of them anyway) from fungi.

The argument at the start of the video, that you can't patent a plant, is not entirely true. You can patent things derived from the plant, it's not difficult.

And for those people who believe that you can only patent things that are actually new, dream on.
