The Crux of our Test is upon us.

Seek the Light in prayer and your dreams will begin to take care of you. Dreams are the opening to the reality of our true being. Peace can be read in your dreams and the messages (though in symbols) soothe your soul and allow you to see to the morrow of your life. Seek peace within the Light of Truth. Seek Christos. It is the state of being, the state of thought that will lead us all home.
There are those who will shout and seek to distort your vision of where you must go, but remember it is all inside you, the way is to know thyself and know Goodness that will take care of you no matter what. You must find the secret fo being within yourself. Read the messages that are speaking to you — the book of Life is inherent within every thing pro or con...symbols are coming to you daily and they will amplify...read them...It is like your karma telling you via divine providence...the power of this message is the burgeoning of enlightenment. The Crux of our Test is upon us. It is time to wake up. Listen to yourself.
Why??? What is about to happen is screaming out with every event taking place...read the tea leaves. They are showing.
I have read countless books throughout my life seeking the messages of our being. I have studied the history of our existence and it is in all our minds in one form or another. The Test of our being is upon us and there is no doubt about it. It is as a crescendo of information that is raining down upon our souls to tell us...His words...CAN YOU SEE WHAT I AM SHOWING YOU? It is a massive information float on a very high level. The supreme test is at hand and we will all be tested. Immorality is at its highest, world tension is at its highest, stupidity is rampant in our media and our schools. The mind has been destroyed to make room for idiots to rule our lives. The streets are awash with autos and noise. One cannot have peace because the practitioners of evil are everywhere attempting to destroy the message that is also everywhere loud...yet God whispers to our souls to seek something higher and better. We have all the information we need to awaken to our purpose of being. The message is clear. The snake is about to bite its tail.

Contrast is good. It shows positive and negative results. Humans Leverage like this all the time...It is called Informal Fallacy and putting on the spin. I really appreciate the help you are giving me by showing the alternative viewpoint. Keep up the good work.

Butterflies are good too, although this is largely due to the fact that they provide such a vivid moral contrast to monkeys and water buffalo.

Like when a group of monkeys attack a water buffalo ... at first, everyone thinks it is a really positive experience, because the monkeys are finally getting their revenge and come-uppence ... but then they think “aww ... poor buffalo.”

Water buffalo leverage like this too, but only some of the time. TRUE FACT: Up to 90% of a water buffalo's life is totally consumed with eating grass and fending off monkey attacks. The other 10% ... if we can believe the so called “Mad” Scientists ( ... and who are we to disagree with them?) ... are spent in leveraging duties. They (the water buffalo) leverage lots of things, including other water buffalo, monkeys and the Brady Kids. They use a device they call the “teeter totter.” It is a proven fact that the Brady Kids believe this device summons up an ancient Hawaiian curse ( ... ok, so Marsha and Jan have “issues” with this concept, but that doesn't mean it isn't true; secretly signed GB, PB & BB).

It's also called the Pope's Holy Hat of Eternal Infallibility, or “the sacred camauro.” Legend has it that the Pope's hat only spins when the yellow windmill affixed to it's apex faces toward the East wind. Some people say this is only a mythical representation of the Western realisation of divine truth, but I say “hey Papa, would you like your eggs easy over Benedict or Dominican?” He usually laughs in his little half-Pope snicker and then he buys me a beer. However, sometimes he stretches me on the torture rack of Gideon.
But hey, he is the Pope! No harm done.

They swing from vine to vine just like the sloth and the water buffalo. It's beautiful and magical at the same time, except beautiful at first and then magical only afterwards.

Keep it up, and you will know just how smart you truly are. I was like you once...then I really looked at myself. I did not like the selfish entity I observed and wanted to learn more. So, I went out and bought 2,000 more books. The Vedic Traditions are a good place to start.
Now if you need some more help in trying to co-opt anything I write, here are some techniques I recommend.
Methods of Leveraging the Human Mind for Political or Academic Power and Control

Informal fallacy is an error of reasoning or a method of hoodwinking an unknowing audience or group. It is often a method of verbal acrobatics to persuade audiences that through reasoning and argument an issue can be correct, when upon evaluation it is not correct but a lie. This is a means of hyping an issue and spinning it as a truth. Still, it is a lie.
Genetic fallacy is a means of persuading individuals upon the goodness or badness of an issue by using something unrelated but similar by showing the goodness or badness of the issue. A genetic fallacy is often used with a personal attack and serves to reinforce a lie. It will be used to condemn a prior thesis by condemning the base source as the point where an issue goes wrong. The base source may not have any relationship to the end product.
Argumentum ad populum or argument to the crowd or people is a prime example of the statement that everybody is doing it. It is also a statement that is the appeal to the gallery for support of its contention. Some say this is not unlike the mob appeal. What goes wrong with this argument is when exaggeration of the crowd is hyped beyond its real scope. Mass enthusiasm via cheerleading can be a lie when evidence shows the impetus was created by coercion rather than genuine appeal. Many call this the bandwagon effect.
Argumentum ad misericordiam is a methodology used with heaps of pity and emotional blackmail for an apparent wrong done to persons when in essence the facts do not support a need for such high levels of compassion. Using emotionalism to pressure an audience for a weak case is often called false witness for high benefit. Many times it is in reality a threat of becoming miserable or worse to force an issue. Some will even threaten suicide or in a laughing manner say something is to die for. It is an effort to position others as mean and wrong for creating miserable conditions for the one who is threatening. Others may use this method to point up the plight of a constituency to leverage for a change in political behavior…such as asking for tolerance when it already exists.
Fallacy of construction or composition of issues is a means of arguing from the make up of parts that have no relationship to the whole. But, by virtue of known parts the whole should follow.
Fallacy of division is the opposite of the above. It is arguing from the whole and its image to portraying the whole as the part when the part has no overall relationship to the results of the whole.
The fallacy of false cause also called post hoc, ergo propter hoc (after this, therefore because of this). The wrong in this argument is the weight given the causal condition. The quantification and formula may be coincidence and outside sources might cause the coincidence. At times, a third party is hidden and may be the ultimate source of the cause.
The fallacy of secundum quid or arguing from a general condition to a specific outcome or again it is also known as the fallacy of accidental relationships. It is also know as the argument of hasty generalizations where a specific condition is apparent.
Argumentum consensus gentium or the argument of all nations or sources for a point of agreement. This argument is typically utilized by the scientific community when they are presenting a theory about some topic. It is usually an assumption rather than a proven fact though many scientists support the concept. Everyone believes this statement therefore it must be true. Its best utilization is as a point of departure for a later proven fact.
Argumentum ad hominem or refutation of the man and what he/she stands for as a character issue in the arena of ideas. This fallacy is usually used to defuse the character of an opponent and position them as less desirable than the attacker. This method is used to poison the well of an opponent with information that is usually fallacious. If he has been wrong in the past, he is sure to be wrong now. Positioning of dirty laundry in the arena of ideas. When attacked by the ad hominem methodology, many come back with the old What about your stance or tu quoquo.

Since I am way into my sixties I am making more mistakes. The old eyes are getting a little tired. I once did hundreds of paintings per year, now I cannot see the canvas well enough to do some of the techniques. I thought when I was young, I would never lose my keen eyesight. But as you said, I have indeed.

Your blogs seem to be unusually - and eminently – monologue hackable. You appear to utilise cuvânti-nouveau as if the terminological irascibilities of the arts and the insouciance were already prescribed to you in common parlance. Sadly, this is not so.

It is good that you are learning and learning is what you are doing for there is no independent deep material being expressed by you as of yet. Why don't you post materials of your on rather than hang around folks like me. Do your own thing for a change. I really do not need your help. Sophomoric expressions sound like my former students and I polished them into fine scholars over time. You sound like one of them, I recall he was from another school (John?) and then transferred from John Jay. How is your life by the way?

I enjoy reading your blogs. I guess I understand why Anubis2 messes with you...your blogs are often a little more than a tad elusive and that makes you an easy target for someone who is more literal than you. I hear you though. I am 33 y/o so there's a bit of a generational gap between us, and some of the symbolism that you use is beyond me, and sometimes it's difficult to understand a point to one of your thoughts, but I hear a lot of what you are trying to communicate. The world is changing very rapidly and weirdness is starting to really creep into our day to day lives(mine definitely, but I guess I can't speak for anyone else). It's now very common for respectable scientists to talk openly about world wide technological singularities, hallucinogenic drug use, and the UFO phenomenon. I mean really, thats what TDG is all about...alternative news. The signs are all around us that we are in a time of great change. No other time in human recorded history have we had so much stuff around us...cars, computers, technology of almost infinite variety. We(regular folk) live a life of luxury known only in the past by the very rich and powerful, yet every time I turn around it seems that someone or somebody is making some high level governmental decision that is harmful to the evolution of the human race. On a personal level, in my own consciousness, I've noticed a deepened awareness of my environment. I see my own intentions, motivations, and what used to be my blind spots, more clearly now than I ever have in my life. Apparently a by product of this is that I've noticed I can see other peoples intentions and motivations more clearly as well...as though I were paying more attention, even though I'm not doing anything differently...I'm just being me. Anyway, it seems that my life's lessons are coming at me faster, and each decision that I have to make is more detrimental than the last one I just made. It's not any more difficult for me at all, but my partner(girlfriend/spouse/best friend/lover/etc) isn't having the same easy going time of it. She spends a great deal of time being depressed at many of the things she is starting to see about herself...ie mind games that she plays with herself and others that she has been previously oblivious too, manipulative motivations, ego inflating intentions, etc. My parents are preachers, but they're not just preachers they are charismatics...speaking in tongues, laying on of hands, that sort of thing. So on top of the weirdness that is obviously(obvious to me, anyway) around me, I'm am often pummeled with Christ's return theories from them, and that makes this whole transition period even that much more weird for me. I can see that they have a point, and that the signs are all around us, but we disagree about much of what those signs represent...they are die hard Christian through and through. Intellectually I think I understand what is meant by the dawning of the age of Aquarius, but the actual experience of it is kinda strange. Well, I've rambled enough. I just wanted to say "hey, you're not alone, man"...

Indeed Dustin, Only God makes sense to our existence. Spending a lifetime in the folds of Mind and seeing every elemental working with some facet of a plan or mental interaction with something else shows to us that this world is one of a pervading mind held within every part of what we see via the Light. He said I am the Light...The Truth and the Way. With our own eyes we are seeing the compression going on all around us of a message of how Life can get out of hand. Chaos is setting itself up for a grand expression to be foisted upon humanity and we must begin to mentally prepare for such an event. I would dare say to position this self-evident transcript of my observations as a black hole is typical of those who wish to subvert what we all know is true if we have a mind to determine...The complexity issue is enough to thwart any attempt to counter what is happening. God is saying...CAN YOU SEE WHAT I AM SHOWING YOU??? It is being spoken in His words, which are symbolic in expression. We must learn to read those words almost as a psycho-cognitioner or one who can read symbols in reality.
Humanity has built this massive edifice toward this day with all its proceedings of guile and hate...now we must at least see it’s coming to destroy all the good and mostly the bad. I fear most those who cannot see it for their own purposes. Their own past and wicked lifestyles get into the way of a clear vision of what is about to happen. Look about you...we have become a trash heap dedicated to mankind's selfish determination of creating his own god of stuff collecting and makeup. No one seems real anymore. But God is still clear to one who goes to nature to pray and meditate. The silence opens the channels to clear understanding of who and what we are. Man is objectified and not reading the symbols shouting all around him of God's realm. Your parents are in God and Christos or the state of being that Christ found and awakened humanity to is the way back home. It is that state of mind that we must attain once again. That mode of knowing how to read the symbols of Life is all about us. Step back once in a while and go to nature and silence so you may think upon life, and God will speak to you as you contemplate his goodness. Yes life is hard, why else would we be here...to learn and be tested. But we must come through this together for we all are part of this gargantuan experience. There is you and there is the other, without the other, there would be no YOU.

Hey anubis2 - I like you, you're funny.
I too like butterflies and monkeys. Monkeys are funny because they poop from the treetops - poop is funny.
Butterflies are a bit boring in that respect, but beautiful nonetheless.
Anubis2 is funny because he uses bug grown-up words that I don't understand to make a point. He messes with Ron's/Enigmni Freak's/Oscar's head and pushes his buttons and pokes him with a big stick, and he responds. I think that's funny.
I don't think water buffaloes are funny. You can't fit one in a bucket for a start. You can fit small monkeys into a bucket, but not a chimpanzee or gorilla. Not unless you have a VERY BIG BUCKET. HEY I just noticed my thumb got stuck on the caps lock key. That's funny.
