Dubious Group Offering $1 Million for Bigfoot Body

Obligatory Austin Powers opening:

Dr. Evil: Here's the plan. We get the warhead and we hold the world ransom for... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

Number 2: Don't you think we should ask for *more* than a million dollars? A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days.

Just a million, yea? I'll take it! So would most of the world. And one group is placing that bounty on the table. All you have to do is throw a Bigfoot carcass on that very table.

A publicly traded company called Bigfoot Project Investments, inc. (how direct) began this call-to-action. Led by controversial Bigfooter Tom Biscardi, the self proclaimed "Godfather of Bigfoot", the team wants definitive proof. Much like America's Most Wanted, if you have any information leading to the direct capture of killing of a Bigfoot, you could get that dough.

So get out your camera phones everyone. If you produce compelling Sasquatch footage, you could be in for a big bag of money. Or will you?

Tom Biscardi is a very controversial figure and known hoaxer. He's no Les Stroud, let's be honest. It appears his motivations are typically rooted in financial gain above all, so this feels more like a giant press-release than an actual call for a Bigfoot body. His website is quite bare, and some folks believe he is merely increasing the capital of his company for a couple bucks-worth of stock or a quick and dirty sell. Very strange. There's more lucrative ways to lead your life, I think. To each his own.

While I highly doubt that this character would ever pay out the million, I am curious what the most effective way to capture Bigfoot would be? To be honest, using the Les Stroud technique, is the most practical. That is, get them to come to you by putting yourself deep in their territory and availing yourself in a non-threatening manner. Very rarely do we hear about people walking around the corner and witnessing a Sasquatch. Most encounters involve a creature peeking through windows, throwing rocks, sifting through garbage, infiltrating farm buildings, and so on.

Whether or not you get that payday, at least this challenge gets people outside and thinking about capture techniques. Happy hunting.

going into business

I am breaking donwn. It is too tempting.

Going to do my best to go into the robotics business. Not toys, real robots. For the consumer market, start with a handful of applications.

You can join me if you like of course. Who do I need? Marketing types, used car salespersons. Engineers at some point. Unfortunately I will need management people to.

What kind of business? Well, it will make robots and then sell these robots.

But there is no market, just a few hobbyists making their own computers.

Correct. There also was no market for horseless carriages. There was no market for phones. You want to talk to someone that often? Really? What is wrong with you??

So join me if you like.

What Kubrick Told Nicole Kidman

“Stanley told me the world is run by pedophiles,” Nicole Kidman said while promoting HBO’s Big Little Lies, in Los Angeles. “He studied secret societies his whole life, he was fascinated by them, and he said the elite, the top secret societies, they are full of men with a certain predilection. They are tied together, sort of bonded, by pedophilia.

“They all know each other’s dark secrets. There is no way out for any of them. It’s a lifetime bond. Even if one of them wanted to go straight, repent, so to speak, he can’t. His peers will bring him down. They are in it until death, driving the world to ruin. That’s kind of how Stanley explained it but it was all very complex. I’m probably not doing it justice.”

"Yesterday Barnett released her own theory about Kidman’s death. "The main perpetrator of my child sexual abuse, Antony Kidman, is dead after I filed formal complaints accusing him of the rape, torture and murder of children in an exclusive Sydney pedophile ring. As a child victim of mind control I feel he’s been sacrificed for failing to adequately program me.”"

Teotihuacan, "City of the Gods"

Friday's episode of Ancient Aliens featured a theory of Hugh Harleston, Jr. that the architectural layout of Teotihuacan includes a scale model of the planets of the solar system.

Harleston concluded that the Temple of Xochitl on the volcanic mountain Cerro Gordo represented the location of a planet that was (at that time) unknown to science, and dubbed it Xiknalkan. It's location corresponds quite closely to Sedna, which was discovered by Mike Brown in 2004. The Ancient Aliens program, however, suggested that the location of Xochitl Temple might instead represent the planet that Mike Brown is currently looking for. Yet, this doesn't compute in that the expected perigee of Brown's "Planet 9" is about twice that of Sedna.

I'm wondering then if there might be some other temple or ancient site on the other side of Cerro Gordo. Looking at Google satellite view, there's something interesting along that same axis at:

19.815125, -98.797963

There's not enough detail in the imagery to tell exactly what it is.

I suppose we should also be looking for something at that range on the opposite side of Teotihuacan (as Sedna and Planet 9 theoretically cannot line up on the same side of the sun in perigee).

Anyway, if anyone has knowledge of the archaeology of the area, please enlighten us!

It is important to realize that in physics today, we have no knowledge of what energy is. We do not have a picture that energy comes in little blobs of a definite amount. It is not that way. However, there are formulas for calculating some numerical quantity and when we add it together it gives “28″—always the same number. It is an abstract thing in that it does not tell us the mechanisms or the reasons for the various formulas

--Dick Feynman

Plus Wittgenstein's idea that all philosophical problems (which includes notions of identity, causality, determinism, metaphysics, etc) are problems of language

Energy IS immaterial. It IS action.

We can call energy spirit if we want.

Dualism works.

The immaterial can become material and vice versa.

And we can predict very accurately its behaviour

And we human beings have figures this out

The Magic Brick in Tut's Treasury

The latest episode ("Pharaoh's Curse") of Ancient Aliens airing this past Friday featured Ahmed Osman as one of the talking heads!

There will be a number of additional showings in case you missed it:

Ahmed explains the purpose of magic bricks in royal burials (among other things). The program goes on to discuss a rare/unique fifth magic brick located in a side chamber of Tut's tomb called "The Treasury". On the brick it was written:

"It is I who hindered the sand from choking the secret chamber,
and repel that one who would repel him with a desert flame.
I have set aflame the desert.
I have caused the path to be mistaken.
I am for the protection of the deceased."

This inscription has a decidedly Moses-like flavor! Recall that in the Biblical story that Moses is first repelled by "pharaoh" and then the pharaoh is prevented from chasing after Moses. And as Moses and the Israelites wandered about in the desert, they were accompanied by an intense fire during the nights.

The magic brick was evidently alluding to Akhenaten in his role as the "Moses"/Ra, however the intended speaker could have been Tut in the role of the Horus/"Joshua" (and as such, the protector of Akhenaten/Moses). It seems to have also been the role of Horus to combat the encroachment of sand (ala the slightly earlier Thutmose IV, who cleared the Sphinx and erecting of an associated stela). It was also the role of the Horus to defend Ra in Exodus. Biblical Joshua is raised up to become the champion of Moses in the desert and then become his kingly successor.

Akhenaten, Aye and Tutankhamun were patterning their actions after specific Middle Kingdom ancestors, who were forced to lead an evacuation of Egypt during a devastating flood event. This was a cyclical event in Egypt, which owed its inspiration to the myth of Ra. In that story, the old and senile god Ra had became disrespected and was encouraged by Thoth to unleash a killing flood upon the land. A remnant was saved only after Ra repented of his anger and turned the Nile red.

The Exodus of Akhenaten was motivated more from a killing drought (ala the end of the Egyptian Old Kingdom), but the tradition of Ra was repeated nonetheless. Upon the death of Akhenaten, it was necessary for "the Lord" to return his body to Egypt for burial and be placed in a tomb originally built for someone else, namely for that Lord himself! (It is thought that Tut's tomb was originally intended for Aye.)

The program states that "some researchers" believe that Tut's tomb may be
hiding the burial of Akhenaten. I wonder who the (other) researchers are (haha)? Anyway, there does seem to be a growing justification to continue the search for Akhenaten! Let's get on with it. To break a curse you have to be willing to get cursed (at) (lol).

So I managed to see "The Lost City of Zed"

After getting over the shock of not having been to a mainstream local theatre in a decade

The movie is a period peice. Wonderful attention to the little details (I heard that the director does this with their films, they want to create a whole world where the characters can inhabit). Ivory Merchant without the dissipation and apathy.

The movie is also a boy's adventure story. Those can be fun
(When I saw a certain scene I laughed because it reminded me so much of a certain famous scene in tbe first Raiders of the Lost Ark movie)

The only issue I had with the movie was with the light. When goinv through the jungle, when sunny, I felt the show was too dim. I had to get up and go to the back to see if it was just my angle. I've been spoiled by Terrence Malik who does amazing things with light in his movies.

Ty DG for serendipitously introducing me to a film I would otherwise never have seen

This is what we get for letting our intelligence agencies become black boxes. In the digital realm now there is no way whatsoever to determine who did what to whom when where and how. Bo

WikiLeaks: CIA Uses ‘Stolen’ Malware to ‘Attribute’ Cyberattacks to Nations Like Russia

by LUCAS NOLAN7 Mar 20171,936

Documents released by WikiLeaks show that the CIA kept records of malware attacks supposedly stolen from outside agents, including the Russian government, used to “misdirect attribution” of hacking sources.
“The CIA’s hand crafted hacking techniques pose a problem for the agency,” WikiLeaks explains. “Each technique it has created forms a ‘fingerprint’ that can be used by forensic investigators to attribute multiple different attacks to the same entity.
That’s where the CIA’s UMBRAGE team comes in. WikiLeaks describes UMBRAGE team’s activities:
The UMBRAGE team maintains a library of application development techniques borrowed from in-the-wild malware. The goal of this repository is to provide functional code snippets that can be rapidly combined into custom solutions. Rather than building feature-rich tools, which are often costly and can have significant CI value, this effort focuses on developing smaller and more targeted solutions built to operational specifications.

This means that the CIA could use a malware attack originally developed by another country to “misdirect attribution” for the hack away from themselves. Within the UMBRAGE arsenal of malware is a collection of “keyloggers, password collection, webcam capture, data destruction, persistence, privilege escalation, stealth, anti-virus (PSP) avoidance and survey techniques.” A directory of the tools collected by the UMBRAGE team can be found here.
