Solar Eclipse

No, it's not the End Times. Right about now a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible from within a narrow corridor that travels across half the Earth over the next 24 hours. There'll be two paths, the major one being that of the Moon's umbral shadow. Beginning in Brazil, it's extending across the Atlantic, through northern Africa and central Asia where it'll end at sunset in Western Mongolia. A partial eclipse will be visible in the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow that includes two thirds of Africa, Europe and central Asia. Rico - I had forgotten completely about the eclipse happening until I read your post late in the evening of that day. I had felt quite weird all day (no comments or sniggers here please!) almost disorientated and on the verge of a panic attack several times. Once the sun set I began to feel better, and today (30th) have felt okay.

Yeah, I had a shocker of a day -- actually, this year has been a real shocker. Anything that can go wrong, has gone wrong. But today, the day after the eclipse -- everything is starting to go right! I felt pretty weird and out of it too, anxious and negative, but now I feel very alert and awake and more relaxed and secure. But I probably put that down to getting a bank loan approved today. ;-)

Fortunaly, the competent and democratic government of my country has prevented this eclipse from happening here.

Or something like that. I should call my member of parliament about it.
