Good luck!

Thanks Chris and Jason M.

Quote of the Day:

[After the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima] there was a very considerable elation and excitement [in the U.S.], and there were parties and people got drunk. It would make a tremendously interesting contrast as what was going on at Los Alamos at the same time as people were dying and struggling at Hiroshima.

Let us take a moment to reflect on what we have been up against lo' these many years. It is still gnawing away at the fabric of this democracy, and it is very, very revved up now.

"However, the negative long-term effects of cannabis on brain structure and function have been demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt. In fact, cognitive decline associated with the use of cannabis is a serious medical problem, and lots of scientific research aims to gain insights into this problem and the potential approaches to reverse decline."

Depends on whose "cognitive decline" you are talking about:

My mother, who is in late stage Alzheimers disease, would probably benefit from cannabis, but it is illegal in her home state. CBD oil is not, but my sisters are afraid of giving it to her for a variety of reasons some of them superstitious.

I agree with the article posted by TDG that exercise (which happens to boost endogenous cannabinoid production in the body) may be the simplest and most direct method for helping to reverse cognitive decline, but you can't help seeing a contradiction in theory here. Cognitive dissonance.

A friend of mine went over to China to teach a six-week course and had to wear a mask the entire time because of the air pollution. There were also cameras and microphones in the classroom so that he could be monitored.

Good times!
