"Like Carved in Stone"? I guess seeing is believing. They might want to store the data using several different media just in case. I'm just saying.

Video of the day: The narrator talks to the audience as though they were three years old.

Bimini: So Shinn was tired of the "underclass" not believing his science, so he planted a bunch of FAKE artifacts so people would believe him. Let that sink in and then realize that this guy is a massive c***. This reminds me of this: http://andrewgough.co.uk/hoax/

...I forgot how I got here but everyone seems to be heading off in that direction. I hope someone brought food. I have a feeling this is going to be a long journey................

The doomsday library is doing it wrong. They should be using ceramic storage (basically glass http://newatlas.com/hitachi-glass-data-s... ),
instead of photographic film.

Someone tell them that.

I tried to read the whole article on the vikings. I really did.
This thing is so long, and they take forever to get to the point. Then the point is, they don't know why these folks left and where they went. Thy kind of assume that the men all got lost at sea due to the walrus hunt. Perhaps.
Or perhaps it was simpler, more pedestrian, as I have heard somewhere else: perhaps they saw that their lifestyle was not sustainable in Greenland so they went home to Norway. There were not that many of them.
