Quote of the Day:

“I was so glad I had it yesterday when my boss demanded that we allow the White House lawyers to look at our phones to stop the leaks. I just sat there on my secret and smiled.”

˜Amazon customer review for the Beat The Boss 3in1 J8 World Smallest Mobile Phone, which is so small it could be easily concealed in somebody’s rectum.

  1. Time to overdose on red pills
Religion: I would think if the aliens have religion it would be there own. Converting them will only go horribly wrong.

    Jung: He wasn’t wrong.

DeLonge: Every lost celebrity does this, even Ozzy’s son had a show on SyFy.

Urine: When I was young I was part of a day camp that would go to the local pool. I hated it. Unfortunately you had to use the pool to pee because the bathroom was a sticky, muddy, spider infested mess.

    1. Aliens Already Have a Personal Relationship with Hercules
      Catholicism has survived worse (haha)!

On the other hand, Baptists probably would not recover if their specialness was compromised.

  2. Materialism Say What?
    http://skeptiko.com/robert-bonomo-how-9-11-truthers-defeated-hillary-336/

“But, for a materialist to kind of go there, it struck me two ways: One, is he doesn’t understand what he’s giving up there. I mean, he’s just given up the family jewels, in terms of materialism, right? Because if he really thought through, and this sounds kind of arrogant on my part, but it’s true. There can be no materialism if the simulation hypothesis is anywhere close to true. He’s signing off on the implications of quantum physics and the observer effect that lead us to the inevitable and obvious conclusion that consciousness is real, and consciousness has to be factored in from the beginning. So, that’s the number one thing that I find stunning.”

  3. TRAPPIST-1 system
These two ‘Christian’ religious takes on the possibility of ‘life’ outside of Earth belong in the dark ages – they are as bad as each other and do not reflect scientific knowledge of the 21st Century.

Just wish humanity would grow up and leave ‘Christian’ and other fairy tales behind…

      1. The Andreeason
Evangelism and ET’s were married much more convingly in the Andreasson Affair book series:

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vida_alien/alien_andreasson.htm#An Interview with Betty (Andreasson) Luca

“Editor: What role do you feel that your Christian faith has played in your rising above the initial trauma of the 1967 “abduction” and the positive spiritual level which you’ve arrived at since?

Betty Ann Luca: My Christian belief is and has been the most important thing in my life, since I was sixteen, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I believed the Beings I experienced to be angelic. Although the 1967 encounter was strange, and the grey Beings were not as I envisioned an angel to look like. It did not frighten me when they entered my home.

For I knew and know I am in the Lord’s care. I was at a positive level back then, and it has been enhanced now for many years. First, through belief in the word of God. Second from all the visitations. And third seeing most all the information the Beings have related to me has been coming to pass.”

        1. Preaching to the ET Choir
Our major religions were an attempt to capture cosmological truth, or at least cosmological reality. Even in their present form, they would still be recognized as having a cosmological basis by ET. Obviously, ET knows cosmology far better than we, but perhaps ET has little need to correct our religions (even if religious people have no clue what they are actually believing in). Anyway, writing Twisted History: Genesis and the Cosmos was my “Road to Damascus” experience in terms of the UFO phenomenon:

          1. intelligent life
All of these discussions (including this one) assume that the alien life is intelligent. That is much less likely than that there is alien life.

Alien as in not-from-this-planet, not alien as in non-USA of course. A silly concept, but hey.

Anyway, the catholic church will just send folks to convert the natives to the true faith, they always do that.

          2. Half-Baked Space Travel
There must be a wide range of intelligent and AI entities. If we were to send an AI explorer to an inhabited planet (based on our current level of capability), the natives would probably think ET was stupid (haha).
