    I thinkg Douglas was wrong about this one. Of course, he wrote satire,
    so if he was still with us, that woujld be his excuse. H wrote brilliant stuff in my view.

    Anyway, our gravity well does allow us to escape from this planet. Just barely, but perhaps that makes it more interesting for those who try.

    If we evolved on Jupiter, there is no way we could ever have left (correct me if I’m wrong, which is quite possible).

    So I propose that our gravity well makes it interesting and hard, but not impossible. It challenges us.

    I dreamed about this man last night. It felt like an interview. He was trying to escape all the publicity he is getting. Maybe I astro-projected…I don’t know. Odd that I dreamed about someone I really only skimmed the article of yesterday morning.
