Okay, so…President Biff?

Quote of the Day:

Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths.

  1. 🙁
I know not to get political here and if you want to Greg you can delete this, but I really expected better from the USA. I agree that Hillary was not the best choice, but she wasn’t Tangerine Hitler. Hate and bigotry fueled this race and they won. Half my family will loose their health insurance because of this. I am glad I don’t have children and now never will, lest they be born into a world I can’t comprehend. How do you explain to your kids, kids who are bullied at school for being different, that the country thinks that’s ok? Nostradamus was right. Rigged election, but not in Hillary’s favor as some believed. And like he said a great darkness is coming. The economy has already plummeted.

I had a premonition last night in a dream, already knowing he won. I saw a long, stretched out calendar. The months one after the other. There is a burn hole from August to September 2017 that looks like a black abyss. Something very bad is coming, and I don’t know what, but I feel doomed.

I think too many people, from all walks of life, thought this was a sure thing. You kept assuming Trump wouldn’t win so you never turned out for the voting. Shame.

I am moving to the UK. Whale vomit seems to be a good way to make money over there.

“First of all, I try everything on myself at the beginning,” he said, adding that the fields are on the order of microtesla—very weak, not even as strong as putting your head near your computer.”

So then, what does your computer’s EM field make you feel? Or your cell phone’s? Or your cell phone tower’s?

    2. ummm
can i comment too? First off im a 12-13 year fan of this site. I come from the bay area and was raised in a very liberal family. I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and at a young age found interest in scifi, magic and the planet. I recently got my art degree and through out all stages of schooling was in the top 5-10% with a passion for science.

ok now that’s out of the way. I votes trump. Gasp! ( I wanted Rand Paul acttualy).

I disagree with every excuse im hearing from the left, remeber o grew up that way and i have seen them from within. Granted i hate labels and have always been an independent.

Trump will win again in 4 years if you dont wake up and smell the java.

Its easy to say orange hitler than try and understand how trump got here.

Its neglect and dishonesty. On a massive scale.

I listened to npr on the way back from starbucks today wit my psl. The things i heard were utter brainwashing.

Trump won because of racism and bigotry, America wasnt ready for a black president etc etc. Wrong. This is propaganda. There a re actual reasons why we reject Obama’s policies and Hilary’s as well. ignoring our concerns is what pushed enough will power to trump. And the fact that this wasnt about politicans who were republicans they were rejected too.

listen to the people. We dont agree with the elite and globalist policies. We want more freedom and a secure future. This has nothing to do with bigotry. But just call us racists, idiots and nazis that worked out great for the last year for yall didnt it?

This line of thinking is part of the reason the DP lost his one. The middle of the road Americans have spoken and its time to listen.

The newss is corrupt. Quotes from 1984 fit just perfectly. Hilary was so corrupt and her base so complicit and in a state of denial or apathy to that was the second part of what killed the DP vote.

Pauly Shore could have won. Sell out Bernie could have won. Any decent liberal who invited in or actually cared about the moderate and the middle of the road americans could have easily secured a victory.

the policy of divide and conquer has cost the new typical liberal the house, senate and whitehouse.

Ive lived in california, Oklahoma, Alaska, England and Utah. Ive taken the time to talk to people my entire life. I have a strong sense of right and wrong.

the liberals are some of the most closed minded people, this observation is from someone raised among them as one of them and has the vantage point. I think for myself, I question. I see hypocrisy and lies everywhere.

I m open to debate and can be reached at “nick dwyer.art” nickdwyer.wordpress.com

      1. ok
You would probably be surprised at what I believe. First I’m not against you voting for Trump, that is your right as American. For me, I voted for Hillary NOT because she was a Democrat or a woman. If Trump can prove us wrong and do good, then by all means, I will stand up and give him an applause. Obamacare is flawed, horribly. I do agree with this, but I still worry for family and friends who are on it now, what will come of it. I am not like some of the more radical left. I am aware that things are not going to change at a drop of a hat.

The Democrats had a horrible uphill battle. They have occupied the White House for 8 years. The pattern seems to be 8 years Dem. and 8 years Rep. and so on. Once the US gets tired of you, you are blamed for everything and your party gets the boot.

Many Democrats knew that will all her baggage this may be an impossible movement. The polls were horribly biased and incorrect by the media as they thought it was a sure thing. And I may be one of the few Dems out there that agree that the media is bad. In fact I hate the media, but I don’t believe reporters are scum. I have a cousin is just got a job sports casting on one of the major sports networks. She used to intern at NBC and trust me, it’s fucked.

The Dems have themselves to blame, no one else. Not Trump. Not the third parties. They put too much faith in the person they thought Hillary was in the eyes of America.

So why did I vote for her? I have family that can benefit from stem cell research. I have family who have had to go through an abortion because of a still born. I have family who can’t afford their medical bills. I have friends who wonder if they are safe in this country. I care for the environment and watch how the ocean keeps swallowing my home town.

I do not think the US is bigoted and I do not think that’s what made the result. But Trump still fueled the fire. He was not the first and won’t be the last. I fear a lot of bigots will come out and use this as a launchpad. Why did I call him Tangarine Hitler? Well. This is similar to what happened in Germany post WWI. A desperate nation fed up with the current government. Yes, I hope I am wrong. Like I said, prove us wrong Mr. President.

If this makes me shallow to you, fine. I guess I’m just surprised because, while both had baggage, Trump’s was worse to me. I worked for a company run by a board of directors who bankrupted us on Christmas Eve and fled the state. As a result the largest employer of my town closed permanently. That is who Trump was to me. And yes, I was originally for Bernie. Though he would have had an uphill battle too.

Good Luck President Elect. Prove us Dems wrong 😛
He is right with one thing, we need to come together. I think all sides need to follow that. Now let’s get some sleep and be thankful the phone calls stopped.

  2. That’s fair
By all means these are legit concerns, not shallow response at all I can’t say anything I voted for bush in 2004 I hate the thought of that choice both very bad. But some of the most in American things he did were built upon by our current leader.

I heard that trump is the first non politician no prior office holder president since Eisenhower. It’s funny that we go from McCain to Romney to a trump lmao. There’s questions of his misconduct but also that of Clinton, both of them. What’s the truth? Not sure. I was groped by a girl in HS and it wasn’t invited lol but it wasn’t that bad 😉

In all seriousness we live in a police state and a prison factory. I believe we are in the calm before the storm a global crash headed our way. Not sure even the Donald can fix that. Question is what will the reset look like.

Too have had a miscarriag my wife and I and it was painful to say the least.

As far as climate goes it’s interesting the sea has been swallowing up civilization perhaps the first ones, for 10’000’s of years. I think it’s possible we have some impact but not the way most people suggest. I had a very very smart prof at OU in 2015 and he was an isotope geochemist. He said based on the data and he knows it well that it was impossible to know for sure because there were arguments that could manipulate data to make a claim. I heard Antarctic ice is growing while arctic is thawing so there’s that.

By all means we only had 1 major hurricane landfall right? Al gore promised apocalypse but this is a planetary shift.

I am much more concerned about smog, toxins, nuclear waste and water quality. A few organisms have supposedly cause mass extinctions by releasing gasses. There was a cool Ted talk on hibernation as an ability we possess in times of need.

That said from what I’ve understood, the earth has been a snowball before for 100 million years. Ill take hotter, I’m having the best ever spring like fall in UT.

But all those thing are far away, especially when you live below the poverty line for 5 years like me. We’ve got to re establish prosperity through jobs and spending. We need the jobs we farm out and the jobs we shipped away to come back. We need a U.S. Driven market not global and more small biz. Bottom line restore the middle class and slash regulation.

Funny, I listen to coast to coast am and one came up from 1997 about pot legalization and hemp farming.

My goodness that was nearly 20 years ago and we are only this far??

Ok I’ll stop I almost deleted all of this;)

    1. Hurricanes
First, my condolences for you and your wife. That is a devastating thing to go through and I wish your family peace.

We had 4 hurricanes form: Gaston (Cat 3), Hermine (Cat 1), Matthew (Cat 5, hit Florida like a truck), and Nicole (Cat 2, fizzled out). I live in a shore town and it floods every high tide. We are a sinking barrier island. It may not be “biblical” but it still will displace people. It may not be for another 30+ years, but it’s concerning.

As for Gore, “The Inconvenient Truth” was a farce to try to get him elected and he took what he said from smarter people who had been preaching it for longer than him. Gore was a joke and made a mess for himself with those hanging chads.

      Okay, done now.
