Quote of the Day:

“People are too eager to say “This legendary person had flaws!” instead of, “Wow, this flawed human being managed to do something legendary.””

  1. fucking the galaxy
Number 12 assumes no other intelligent life exists, but since we already are messing up the galaxy with all our space trash we might as well go extinct. Humans: Hoarders of the Galaxy.

      1. False flag
I don’t know if Bush was behind the attacks, as the author claims to –personally I feel the Prez would choose ‘cleaner’ methods to deal with media offenders– but by now it really seems that the FBI was more worried with finding an easy culprit –a scapegoat– than really solving the case.

        1. The anthrax attacks were
The anthrax attacks were generally meant to create a climate of terror that facilitated the passing of The Patriot Act – the targets were “enhanced” according to Bush’s personal whims and vendettas, and the “enhancers’ within the military may have taken the initiative on their own as a means of further pleasing POTUS.

  2. white heron
or great snowy egrets as they are know are lovely creatures. I once had one in the huge pine tree in my backyard one morning before I went to class. I was transfixed by him and took many pictures on my old Asashi manual camera. Every time I myself have seen one of these birds it has been a sign of good luck. On my way to a convention for beachcombers my friend and I stopped by the side of the road to observe some 100 of the birds gathering to partake in the low tide feast. That day i won an award for one of my beach finds. Another time I was walking on the beach and a Great Blue Heron appeared before me. They are bigger than white egrets, about 3-4 feet tall, this one was closer to 4 ft. It stood in front of me and had its head tilted in a very odd way so from my perspective it created a 90 degree angle with its head pointed toward the sea but its neck and body straight in front of me. As I approached it didn’t budge. It was not near the water and there was no one else on the beach but me because it had been a foggy morning. I bent over to pick something up off the sand and when I looked up it completely my vanished. This was a big beach and I quickly scanned the area but could not see a bird of that size flying anywhere, nor did I here it fly away (they are so big you usually can when that close). What was even more interesting was when I walked to where the heron was standing there were no footprints in the sand at all. None. No sign that he had ever been there. I did not have my camera. To this day if I see one of those birds I take it as a sign.

    1. Bird sign
I kinda started to feel the same way with a little red-chested bird I used to spot every time I went for a walk near where I live. Every person is different, and every person will choose a different animal or object to assign a special value, which will then be used to ‘externalize’ your subconscious. I don’t see that as capricious at all 🙂
