News Briefs 06-04-2015

How odd…an image of Carel Struycken popped into my head twice during these news briefs. First person to tell me which two news briefs wins a prize…

Thanks @anomalistnews and @weirdaustralia.

  1. Lynchless Twin Peaks? No.
That gentleman remains true to his reputation, that’s why he may “come back”. Nota bene Showtime’s mean hint at the 2nd creator. Although Lynch didn’t realize a lot of the 30 Seasons 1&2 episodes it would be unbearable to know he wasn’t there at all.

(And this must be Greg’s first Carel Struycken image, the 2nd one I guess would be the giant Aliens?)

I do think it is a serious condition that is being ignored by the CDC and other “alphabet soup” organizations. Disorders such as fibromyalgia and autism were once in the boat Morgellons is now. Today we have commercials for medicines to treat them during the 6 o’ clock news. So hopefully in time, and it’s sad I have to say this, more people will come to the surface showing signs of this disorder and those who have the funding will have no choice but to pay attention to it.

We live in the 21st century, we can’t use the gods as an excuse for lightning anymore, so why are we saying that it’s all a bunch of crazy people. And since a large majority of sufferers are woman, many doctors just chock it up to “female problems” or hysterics. That still happens in this day and age and it’s really pathetic.

Winner winner! The tall Arquillian in Men in Black as an enormous alien, and the Giant in Twin Peaks obviously. Will send an email about your prize! 😀

“Yes, both are related as both are imaginary.”

The bizarre fibers are not imaginary, and they are not “textiles.”

“Randy Wymore, a former research director of the MRF and presently director of the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences’ Center for the Investigation of Morgellons Disease, claims that Morgellons patients have submitted masses of dark fibers visible at 60x magnification under the unbroken skin, while unaffected individuals do not. Wymore sent samples of fibers, none of which was collected by biopsy, to the Police Crime Lab in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for analysis. A forensic scientist at the Tulsa Police Crime Lab in Oklahoma searched the FBI’s national database, but the Morgellons sample did not match any known fiber in the database. Lab director Mark Boese said the fibers were “consistent with something that the body may be producing,” adding, “These fibers cannot be manmade and do not come from a plant. This could be a byproduct of a biological organism.””

This is my favorite theory so far. My brother-in-law contracted lyme disease and had it undiagnosed for 5 years. He too developed the lesions with the fibers growing out of the lesions from deep inside the skin.

“Australia has taken this condition/disease more seriously than anyone in the United States. Australia has found that MD is from Lyme disease. Cattle have a disease, diagnosed in 1974, that has same symptoms as MD, with microscopic fibers. The cattle disease is from spirochetes, just like Lymes.
It is unfortunate that the medical and scientific community in the U.S. contribute anything new(new in their eyes) as psychosomatic. Sad. No wonder the pooulation of the U.S. is unhealthy. Thank goidness other countries are more advanced in some areas than the U.S. but the attitude of medicine and science in the U.S. is one of arrogance and only the U.S. can get and has answers for everything. Sad.. people are suffering from a real condition. Even dogs and cats have MD.”

        1. Thank. You.
It always amazes me how far advanced other countries are beyond the US. But why do they deny or ignore things that other countries have already researched? Or worse…blame aliens and mental illness. Why is the US so pigheaded? Fuck they don’t listen to their medical professionals let alone the patients.

I wonder in such an advanced stage can it be cured by heavier doses of the drug we use to cure Lymes (Doxycycline)?

          1. Read the literature –
Read the literature – everything is being tried – some of it works for some people. My brother in law was on heavy doses of antibiotics for a year to slay the Lyme. It also cleared up the Morgellons – he hopes.

          2. Killer bees
There was a very interesting article published on the Discover magazine website, which discussed the story of a poor woman who was afflicted with Lyme, to the point that she saw no alternative to ending her misery other than death.

Then something quite serendipitous happened: The woman was attacked by killer bees who stung them multiple times; but what looked like further proof of this woman’s crappy luck turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Somehow the poison delivered by the bees cured her of the Lyme’s disease completely.

So perhaps there may be a way to develop an aggressive therapy using bee poison, to be administered only as a last resort to both people suffering of Lyme, and also Morgellons.
