My reaction when my Buddhist cousin showed me the new tattoo he got made to symbolize ‘Impermanence’…

Thanks to the a-hole who scraped my car last night, for teaching me the concept of car paint impermanence.

Quote of the Day:

“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.”

~ Rabindranath Tagore

  1. Star Wars
Yes thank you! I saw this last night and was going to post it but I thought I’d wait to see if anyone here caught on first. I am now wanting a Star Wars anime (or animation in general) so bad. Dammit Paul Johnson I demand more of this!

    1. Most impressive
The mere fact that he remained motivated enough during those 4 years in order to complete what he set out to do speaks volumes about his creative passion 🙂

  2. tapir and pika
Tapir: Not a white elephant but close enough since they are related genetically. Hope no one goes looking for it and kills it using the excuse of “nature would have done it anyway.”

    Pika: *dies from cuteness overload*

    1. “You need us, plebes!”
God dammit, that was horrible >_____< I think Latin America should do a better job in saying 'No' to these pendejos. I already know Europe has higher standards when it comes to GMOs and such, but these a-holes are still counting on the poorer countries to bite the bait.

  3. Assisted Suicide
I’m amazed at how fragile human existence really is. Yet, such a high percentage of the untrained (non-physicians) fail when trying to kill themselves!

I just posted a blog about the vanishing cometary threat. Looks like we’ll have to find some other means of offing ourselves in the future. Spending way too much time slumped over books and computers is my personal doomsday device. I wish Gramma was still around to stuff me with German Chocolate Cake (baked with Monsanto flour). Here’s to you Paul Johnson and your death-defying Devotio!

    1. Back to the Future
More interesting than the Alexandra David-Neel connections on the Twilight Language site was the breakdown of blatant 9/11 symbolism in the movie “Back To the Future” further down the page. Now there is some predictive programming, and it is not very twilightish either. It’s in your face.

  4. Drones . . .
Are real and proliferating at an alarming rate. They run in size from toys to full size aircraft. Our local news has of late been filled with stories about misuse and abuse by personal drone operators, including a personal camera drone that had a near miss with a helicopter (the whole incident was caught on tape, including footage of the drone operator who didn’t seem at all concerned that he put lives at risk). Seen in poor weather, bad visibility, at predawn and twilight, or as lights at night, they’re not all that readily identifiable as to what they are. I see no parallel at all to “swamp gas” (although that’s a real phenomenon, too). Swamp gas is ephemeral and requires certain conditions to develop and glow. Anybody with the money to buy one can fly a drone. And, yes, I think a large percentage of UFO reports from now on really will be misidentified drones. Any Ufologist who doesn’t take that into account is kidding him or herself or trying to put one over on the gullible.

    1. Misidentified drones
Which is why I suggested we inform ourselves about the operational capabilities of these machines.

As an aside, I suppose it’s inevitable that in the future drone owners will be required to have them registered somewhere, and maybe they will also come equipped with some kind of tagging sensor, so the authorities will have them located at all times, or quickly locate a culprit in case the drone causes an accident.

  5. drones
Yes, when watching 2 recent “famous” Norwegian UFO videos, I realized that these most likely show drones. I guess those “amazing” Hessdalen Lights likely were Chinese lanterns to begin with, now they are Chinese lanterns combined with drones.
