  1. IS
Why do the terrorist seek to destroy these artifacts? The news states it’s because they represent materialism and idol worship, but nobody worships them anymore. I feel like they would be smart enough to realize that. It’s just disgusting that they have to do this to get attention and the beheadings.

  2. Atlantis in Morocco
Of course we would expect to find traces of the Atlantean culture along the Moroccan coast, as well as along the Spanish and Portuguese coastlines. Iberia (Basque country) was also an outpost of Atlantean culture judging from DNA studies.

I recently bought Frank Joseph’s new book, “Before Atlantis: 20 Million Years of Human and Pre-Human Cultures.” I was shocked to read that Joseph disavows any Atlantean culture at the end of the last Ice Age, nor any prior to about 4,000 years ago. Why is it so difficult to understand that significant amounts of terrain along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge were exposed during the last Ice Age and that it would have “sank” due to a combination of glacial rebound and rising sea levels?

That’s what I believed happened since it’s still happening today with rising sea levels. There are many locals to the Canary and Virgin Islands that tell stories passed down that sound like Atlantis as well as North American natives. Time and time again we doubt the ancient cultures only to later “eat crow” and realize that they weren’t just telling bedtime stories, they were telling you the truth. Why is it so hard to believe the ancients?

  3. Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Ice Age Paradise
According to a study I read, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge was one of only two places in the world that enjoyed both a mild climate and abundant rainfall during the last Ice Age. The other location being the Sunda Shelf, which was also above sea level at the time.
