  1. The Anti-Conspiracy Conspiracy
I’m sure Emlong will have a field day with this one.

It will be interesting to see if the French government will use the recent attacks to implement their own Patriot Act type legislation.

In general, anti-conspiracy propaganda and laws are unnecessary because there are so many that voluntarily attack or dismiss all “minority reports”.

The article suffered from some French-to-English translation issues, but had a number of excellent points. The favorite ploys of anti-conspiracy groups (including and especially Academia) is to lump all conspiracists together (as nut cases) and to claim the refutal of a larger conspiracy through a lame attempt to refute only one element of the conspiracy.

Conspiracy is a natural human activity. Trusting authority is also a natural human tendency. That said, not all of the world’s problems are due to conspiracy and concomitant gullibility. Some can be credited to plain old stupidity.

The ancient Sumerians held that both truth and falsehood were essential elements of civilization. Of course, their idea of civilization was based on the kingship model, which engaged in institutionalized murder, slavery and other forms of social injustice. What we have now in developed countries is preferable to kingship, but may not be sustainable. Therefore we are on the path back to de facto dictatorship as quasi-democracy collapses under its own weight.

    1. It will be most interesting
It will be most interesting to see what happens if they try to ban what is in effect just deep journalism. Does the French public still have the cojones to create an uproar?

        1. Secret Societies and Owls
Secret Societies always remind me of owls which then reminds me of a strange set of circumstances that have greeted me post Thanksgiving. Upon my return to home base after the holidays 3 orgonite plaque orders in a row have been for the owl plaque. One of the orders was for 5 owl plaques so actually that is 7 owl orders in a row – an unprecedented synchronicity in my tiny business.
I should point out that while in Houston, TX for the holiday some of my family including myself visited the Menil Museum where we all admired out loud the numerous both creepy and cute owl effigies in the African masks exhibits. The first owl plaque order originated from someone whose residence is near a hotel that my wife daughter and I stayed in the night before flying out of Austin and in which hotel I had a sleep dream about owls, so the weird factor was high from the get go.
Just for a little fun with my wife I showed her the tiny owl tucked away on the US one dollar bill. My wife also reminded me that over the holidays we watched a private screening of a new documentary about Audubon (“Rara Avis”)which also went on at length about the uncanniness of Audubon’s owl prints.
Anyone else seeing owls in their virtuality at the moment?

  2. Solid Gold Dick
I may be sounding cruel here, but judging by that picture – if you look like that big of a dick – I don’t care how you die I’m just glad you’re dead. Fake story or not, can he just be dead?

*puts on misanthropy shades and walks out of room*

    1. Some of the most ardent
Some of the most ardent investigators of “conspiracies” were revered historians. History is flush with examples of people getting together to do bad (and sometimes good) things in secret. That this idea should in our day become some kind of kooky notion is symptomatic of the generally poor educational system, the strategies of certain “interests” intent on vilifying people who have found them out, and general intellectual laziness about things that are “troubling.” Online trolls have certainly played their part in the branding as well, though their efforts have not really come to anything, hence the desperation of certain globalist managers who haven’t been able to turn people away from what the legal profession calls “discovery.” They are going to thrash around and around like Mr.Hollande here, but the more they thrash the more suspicious and disingenuous they look.

      1. More Owls
So, to further elaborate about last week’s owl synchronicities in my life, one of my readers linked me to Mike Clelland’s brand new book about owl synchronicities. This debut on Amazon happened on Dec.3 when I was in the thick of my own personal voyage with this. I had no knowledge whatsoever that Clelland was publishing his magnum opus on this topic though I did read his “Kristen” story a couple of years ago on his web site.

I am awaiting receipt of the paperback. Otherwise, the owl synchronicities in my daily life stopped near the date of the book’s publication.
TDG has investigated the owl thing in the past.
