In pre-Soviet Russia, comet land on you…

Quote of the Day:

Penetrating so many secrets, we cease to believe in the unknowable. But there it sits nevertheless, calmly licking its chops

  1. No News is Bad News
The authors of the “Lost Gospel” couldn’t have hoped for any better publicity!

The variant of the Joseph and Asenath story in the “Ecclesiastical History of Zacharias Rhetor” wasn’t mentioned in previous articles. This looks like the key evidence being used to support a 1st Century context. However, as I conclude in the blog I did on the subject, a 2nd Century or later context makes much more sense based on published versions of the tale.

Looking forward to checking out the new book regardless.

  2. Muslims beat out Columbis . . .
Well the Clovis civilization beat the Muslims by about 12,000 years. Just sayin’.

Ahem, the aboriginals knew the Americas were here all along. It was the cultures on the east side of the Atlantic that were dumb and dumber.

  3. Scholars shred new claims of Jesus’ marriage and fatherhood
and just lie that…shot out of the sky with an arrow to the knee 😛
wow…took them longer than usual didn’t it. I hate that word..scholar…it just means you are usually a closed-minded douchebag.
However, the Israeli paper notes that the “text” in question is the “Ecclesiastical History of Zacharias Rhetor,” written on animal skin and brought to England in 1867. “At the time, scholars who read and studied the text deemed it to be untrue and insignificant in Christian history,” the paper said.
Yeah, right there says it all.

If you’re seeing this Simcha, I have been watching your shows and reading your studies for years. I’m not a “fan,” but a student of “the true shit scholars don’t believe in society.”
