News Briefs 12-07-2013

"The science of today is the technology of tomorrow."

A mighty tip ‘o the hat to Perceval the Grail-Seeker for last Friday’s News Briefs-- And props to RPJ for the links. Many thanks, mes amis…

Quote of the Day:

“When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.”

...I forgot how I got here but everyone seems to be heading off in that direction. I hope someone brought food. I have a feeling this is going to be a long journey................

Sadly, here in Mexico we have also had cases of archeological sites that were razed by real estate developers :(

It's not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me...
It's all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!

and what's really messed up is we probably only hear about this happening an eighth of the time, meanwhile it's probably happening more times than we can count and not just below the border. That being said, if it wasn't for you guys here on TDG I wouldn't know about it because the news doesn't give to f**ks about what happens "down there." It's sad...
