I spoke to the guys at Mysterious Universe last week about my new book Stop Worrying! There Probably is an Afterlife (Kindle / Paperback), if you can handle being triple-teamed by Australian accents…

Quote of the Day:

Life isn’t divided into genres. It’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel.

I have never accepted the idea of one, massive, instant of matter exploding to form all of what we now see.

If the universe is infinite, then it’s simply bot possible to have a central point, nor to accumulate a sufficient amount of matter there over any period of time.

I am still a Creationist, although I have no overall problem with evolution. In my view, the Gods created all that is seen and unseen, and science is our way of trying to understand HOW the Gods did it.

Please don’t confuse me with the literalists of Biblical Theology. I’m a Pagan, but I also believe in the core of “truth” in religious literature, from the Old Testament to Buddhism, to all the worlds current and past religions.

There’s lots to discuss with this issue, but I will also add that I have become convinced that the Electric Universe theorists are on to something, and that their explanation of how the Universe works is much more compelling than mainstream science today.

So now it’s off to brew more coffee, then to read some more of the links from my favorite daily read: The Daily Grail. 🙂
