in general, as the article should have gone more deeply into, any animal is good for your health. it not only teaches kids responsibility but also makes them feel loved. i know that i would come home from school after a day of being tortured and bullied by other students and it was my animals who kept me from killing myself. i think it should be a law that all kids have pets, unless they come from a broken home or are those crazy brats who try to pull off Mr. Whiskers' tail :P
Personally I'm a dog lover, but i have owned cats in the past, i just didn't like the kitty litter part and the fact that it does stink up the house even if you change it often, and your close and stuff of cat urine. Yes, I prefer the plastic bag over the scoop! I like cats though, I can't logically hate an animal...
...I forgot how I got here but everyone seems to be heading off in that direction. I hope someone brought food. I have a feeling this is going to be a long journey................

I Amazoned me Baraka 2 months ago —I was a bit um, inebriated and I just made an impulsive purchase, but Boy was it worth it!
I showed it to my parents, and although my mom snored through most of it, I was incredibly delighted to notice my father's enthralled attention to it. Later in a family gathering he mentioned how impressed he was with the movie. That made me really really happy :)
So I'm definitely getting Samsara before the year runs out!
It's not the depth of the rabbit hole that bugs me...
It's all the rabbit SH*T you stumble over on your way down!!!
