This article reminded me of the famous Old Testament polydactyly, King Og, who was said to be a giant with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot.
There is such a clear vestige of a duodecimal (base-12) system in our measurement systems and mythologies. But, obviously ET would not need twelve fingers to keep the math straight, haha!
