LOL, as per my mom's suggestion, I tucked the masks --yes, with a plural, because I bought one more as a present for Chris Hayes, co-host of Micah Hanks' Gralien Report podcast-- deep beneath my clothing in my bigger bag, instead of my hand bag, because I was dreading to have that awkward moment, of a customs officer asking "Sir, may I ask why are you carrying this?" and would go all "Um... Ancient Aliens?" :P
And then when I arrived at the hotel, and I didn't find Micah or anyone else, I was REALLY nervous. Trying to get the nerve to actually pull off the stunt of just walking right in the conference wearing the mask on. "Am I doing this yes or no?" I kept thinking. But after a moment of indecision, I went "Fuck it: I'm here with the mask in another country where nobody knows me. I'm doing this!".
Best decision I've ever done ;)
