Quote of the Day:

“If UFOs are some type of intelligent power from another world, they may have been around for millions of years and may have been involved in the development of the biblical religion, and I do believe that is the case”

Rev. Barry Downing [“The Bible and Flying Saucers”. Amazon US & UK].

  1. Mr. Blobby Was The Cutest; But,…
    Red Pill,

The blue Christmas Tree Worm was the most beautiful! The Yeti Crab was nice, too. For some reason, Mr. Blobby reminds me of a bean bag.

          1. Thanks
            Thanks for the reply, LastLoup.

Yes, Ziggy was a comic strip, and here in Mexico he used to be very popular in greeting cards during the 1980s.

          2. Thank-you!
            Lastloup,

I’ve been in Japan since 1985. So, if Mr. Ziggy ever came to Japan, he must have left before 1985. It is, however, refreshing to know that there is a Mr. Ziggy in the world!:)

What is more frightening is that Bramley is right and they are involved in the banking system.

  3. Neanderthals…….

I have often wondered how much the role of disease played in the destruction of Neanderthals. In almost every situation in history where one alien group has run up against another, the trading of germs from one to the other has resulted in large scale sickness and death.

Even in America’s civil war, when one regiment from one part of the country was brigaded with one from another part, doctors invariably saw outbreaks of sickness and death as the germs found new hosts who had no resistance to common strains from the other group.

School teachers, especially those of the K-6 grades, see this happen every school year, during the first week or two of classes with common cold germs, and other types finding new hosts.

Could it have been the same with Neanderthals as successive waves of Homo-Sapiens moved into and through their areas?

Of course, the result would have been true for Homo-Sapiens as well, and that also might have some bearing on why it took so long for one population to overcome the other.

    Thoughts?

    Karellen?

  5. hell’s kitchen
‘They sting like serpents, stimulate like strychnine; they are subtle and sensual like Chinese courtesans, sublime and sacred, like Cambodian carvings’. Crowley began to frequent this restaurant where he met yet another of his many mistresses – a girl he called The Dog because she appears in one of his poems as the “Dog headed Hermes or Anubis”.
This has got to be the funniest thing I have ever read. I fear eating at Crowley’s house would result in some later dissatisfaction 😉

      1. Three Guesses
        RPJ,

A devlishly delishious stew of stories today!!

With respect to alien interlopers, it must be that “three wanna own me, two wanna stone me, and one says she’s a friend of mine”.
