    1. Actually I think its a bit unfair
The croppies are an ungrateful bunch as the farmer grows the crop for the circles to appear in whether he gives his permission or not.
It just seems an indication of how our civilisation is developing.
The croppies think that crop circles are wonderful signs from aliens on how to understand the cosmos and then they go and bash a farmer over it.
      I don’t understand people.

I wrote a comment here on the news earlier tonight and it just disappeared into the ether.

So I will just add that I loved the UFO pics.I don’t know where you find these Greg but they are terrific.

        1. No Greg
It was under the new news you put up today.I finished it and clicked on submit and I got a page up saying that the server connection of Greg at I think local page or something, password yes was lost.
It was like that for a while, probably an hour or so and then OK again.
          It was a white page.
Then all was back to normal.

          1. A suggestion
Never directly write your long replies directly into the answer box but rather do it in a word processor. It can easily be copy pasted into the box afterwards.

If there is any problem, your text is still available for posting.

Glitches can happen at any time, usually right after you just sweat over a long effort.

Also, things tend to happen when you don’t protect yourself, so to speak.

          2. Oops
That was me, I broke things for a while there, sorry you lost your comment 🙁

Greg has taken me out the back and given me a sound thrashing, so I’m eager not to repeat the experience.

          3. Oh No!
David I should have warned you about Greg, he is a ruthless overseer and we are all scared to death of him.
Let me know if he thrashes you again and I will deal with him.

            shadows

Actually that’s a relief as I thought it was me.

          4. Hey, hey – it’s David!
Haven’t seen a post by you in ages. Nice to know you’re still around, and still sorting the bugs for Greg and the rest of us.

Hope you noticed that article I posted (a month or two ago) about the new round bicycle engine, since I was thinking of you and your love of engines at the time. If not, a TDG-search for ‘bicycle’ ought to bring it up. I think it was bladerunner who said he immediately forked over a $50 deposit for one. I wouldn’t mind having one myself – just in case the police eventually find my stolen bike. (Fat chance, but I’m still hoping.)

  1. Study: psilocybin induced universal ‘mystical’ experience
    This one is for Greg:

Hopkins scientists show hallucinogen in mushrooms creates universal ‘mystical’ experience

“We are conducting rigorous, systematic research with psilocybin under carefully monitored conditions”

    1. Thanks
I emailed Greg about that story last night, but I suggested he find a more scientific source than the one I found – just a short article at the Scotish tabloid, The Daily Record. So I appreciate you posting a link to Eurekalert’s version. I hope Greg will post it in Thursday’s news, since many TDG visitors don’t read the comments section.

      Kat
