News Briefs 23-06-2006

It’s a bit jumbled up, but I’m sure you’ll manage. Yo, Bill, there’s news about mesquite. I’m hoping today’s quote is a first for TDG.

Quote of the Day:

You have kept me away from water for a week. Give me water.

Nepal’s girl-haunting ghost

  1. Jon Stewart;Enemy of the State
Yup freedom of speech and freedom of the press, bad. Making everyone a suspect good. When the evening news shows are covering importent stories, such as a missing white girl, or be afraid of everything. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Cobert Report give real news out of Washington D.C. and what those A$$h@(e$ are really up to with humor( so you don’t cry). When the “Fake” news is more acurate and on target there is a big problem. And man do we have a big problem.I don’t even know where to begin anymore.

    1. Jon is going to love this…
I can’t wait for Monday’s show, and I hope it isn’t a re-run because he’s SURE to mention something about this. There is nothing wrong with pointing out the completely ridiculous nature of American politics, and the lack of choice available for those of us without our heads in the sand. Thus the Indecision 2000 and 2004 coverage; which did a far better job than any major network, and it isn’t even “real” news.

Mr. Morin is obviously offended by the Stewart/Colbert disdain for all mainstream media. He also seems indignant that young people, and more than a few older people, are tuning into Comedy Central for their news instead of swallowing the drivel put forth by this over-paid, under-informed, criminally negligent American press.

  2. Crikey!
This’ll keep me out of the pubs and off the streets!

I have only looked at the amber so far.I loooove amber.I have some with air inclusions which I think is wonderful.
